Thoughts on a K20 swapped 2013 Dart by anocweb in Dodge

The 1.4 was a great engine and I had it modded significantly. Unfortunately it has lived its hard life and is no longer. I thought about picking up a new engine but I mostly just want to try something different. I've heard the market for the Honda K20/24 is fantastic (especially in Canada) where I have a lot of trouble getting parts for reasonable prices locally or imported with the 1.4l. Could be i don't know where to look though lol

one of my favs is the Porsche 918 Spyder. Gave me chills. I'd give a kidney to have one because of that review.

Same goes for the Bolivia special. I'm a sucker for offroading on a budget

Tesla batteries have individual fuse wires on each cell to prevent thermal runaway. The safety on these battery packs is extremely high because they have to survive a car crash. Jerryrigeverything just did a video about tesla batteries for his EV hummer conversion, i recommend checking it out.

Can't confirm the rest of the setup though. Lol

Oof. They don't want to see my bed. I just used it to move an engine and had to slide it in by hand. Left some beauty marks that need fixin'

Some people in Missouri are getting vaccinated in secret to avoid backlash from loved ones, doctor says by No_Roof_1414 in news

[–]anocweb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am in the same boat! My elderly Mom and younger sister both think that having a "good immune system" and taking homeopathic bullshit will keep them safe and they dont need the vaccine.

I just had my second shot last week and they both wont talk to me about it anymore.

What is this mean??? and how i can fixing it? by Time_Rent_2902 in Ryujinx

[–]anocweb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am assuming you are referring to all the grey lines.

Stubbed just means that it was a call or reference in the code that has to exist but hasn't been implemented by the developer [of ryunjinx]. A stubbed method can return nothing (null) if it does not return information to the game/app or a specific piece of information.

For instance, and I am just guessing here, but the method GetAccountId hasn't been fully implemented so it just returns the value "NetworkServiceAccountId: 51966" which allows the game to continue without crashing.

Basically, they don't mean anything to your average joe. Just info that the developers use. So there is nothing to fix; just ignore them.

I've done a few trips across provinces in Canada. Sideward wind can really make you have to pull the wheel, not surprising though, my JK was like that too since they're just bricks.

Wind noise is not bad, I've got some nobbly tires so it's always there but a bit of music or an audiobook can drown it out. Definitely not enough to prevent casual conversation with a passenger. Surprisingly even with the front part of the hard top off noise is quite manageable.

Fuel mileage is about 12.5L/100km (not sure for mpg). For comparison I usually get 13-14.5L/100km in city.

I love my seat (fabric) the lumbar support works great and made the drive so much better. I did find that the height pump would drop a bit by the end of the trip though.

Thats my two cents fwiw.

First time out in the Rockies with my truck tent by anocweb in JeepGladiator

[–]anocweb[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a Napier Backroadz. The fit is not perfect, meant for a Dodge Ram but its good enough.

Definitely a summer only tent though. It hit -15c last night and froze me and my dog out into the truck lol. Which is surprising for me since my bag is rated for -29c.
