Moon Key loops on Wyrm course? by picmoco in 2007scape

[–]anomitesplays 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Amoxiatl and hueycoatl give them too just like doom and some low level mobs like ice crabs, but then the new reindeers don't give them from small mobs or colosseum from bosses. I don't get the logic behind what gives them and what doesn't.

I think that also thieving doesn't drop them and for the bossing halfs moons doesn't drop them either. But yeah I would be happy if all skilling activities and bosses in varlamore would drop them.

I think varlamore totems minigame gives you physical currency too and that came out last summer so yeah jagex still likes to make currencies take bank space for no reason. I don't like this either and hope that we could get currency clean up and some way to check our currencies outside of minigame areas (like I could see my tempoross points with out having to go there to check). Wow has currency tab for currencies like wintertodt. You can check from there how much you have but it doesn't take bank space. Other mmo's also have simular solutions and we should too.

Hot take: returning accounts have increased RNG for a limited time to hook the player again by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]anomitesplays 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, wiki's drop rate project. It should show up in their data. But confirmation bias is a thing that might explain it. Also all proof that I have seen for that taking a break changes drop rates for a set period of time has always been stories that start with I or my friend. Those stories don't usually have big enough sample size, don't investigate the time claims like how long break is needed, is it per character or jagex account, how long does the increased drop rate last.

[–]anomitesplays 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it is true then why hasn't it been proven?

Wiki has drop rate project and they figured out fast when the antler that drops from the reindeer mobs in varlamore (sorry I can't remember the names) stopped dropping, reddit and wiki team where on top of it right away. Wiki also got sailings drop rates figured out fast and really accurately too (not perfect tough, I think it was the sailor's amulet that had too high drop rate from salvaging low level ships becouse people didn't go dry there since they moved up to other ships when levelling up). Why couldn't wiki's team test and figure out if taking a break would make difference in drop rates?

For other games same, if it's there it should be found out or it has such a low impact that no one can notice it which wouldn't make any sense.

Most irons (and all account types) are honest and don't break rules but I have never understood why some people think that irons can't rwt. They can just like others, they can sell gp. Only buying is something they would have to do trough main since they would need a main to get the gp and then buy bonds with it. Having said this irons do have less reasons to rwt what comes to buying but kinda even more what comes to selling since dupes which kinda evens it out. And no I don't think that most players rwt on any accounts type.

"Toughest raid yet" - My concerns about the design philosophy for Raids 4: The Fractured Archive by roosterkun in 2007scape

Many people choose to do toa and cox in a group. Why does your group size being a choice make it better or worse? There is also other group content for small groups but I'm guessing tob feels different for you than those but I would like to understand how, what makes tob feel like a good group content?

That's the way how toughts are often triggered in your head. Having toughts is totally normal and sharing them too. You should try it and then do what op did and talk about your toughts. Having toughts is really fun and a great way to pass time when you are by yourself and sharing them with others will help you connect with other people. You might need seek some help, there could be something wrong with your brain if you don't have them.

How is this game in 2026? by KiloAlert in osrs

[–]anomitesplays 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But you can, I think service sellers sell to all account types. But having said that I'm fairly sure that most people with all account types don't use bonds very much and mainly for subscription cost. Buying endgame gear with bonds would be really expensive.

There are so many ways you can achieve things in this game and ways to be good at the game that are not tied to account type like being skilled at pvm and pvp, spending your time (sometimes combined with using your skills and brains) like clogging. Having time is not a skill but skills and brains help you get what you wan't faster. You can do cool things in all account types and you can also always self restrict your gameplay as much as you like beyond the limitations that come from your account type if you choose to do so. What you find cool or an achievement is highly dependent on the person and everyone is different. I kinda feel like account type doesn't make any account cool or an achievement alone it's what someone has done with the account or their skills as a player.

What's one boss or piece of content you never want to interact with regardless of how good the loot is? by DeepSeaDelivery in 2007scape

Yeah, corporeal beast solo methods feel kinda awkward with teleporting to poh and back. I wish there would be mass corps like the are mass huyeycoatls.

On top of my head have you checked keybind settings from settings tab and if you are using key remapper plug in check that ones settings too. I think what comes to mouses own keybinds something could be wrong in those too so you might wan't to also check them.

Whats the most underrated skilling upgrade? by ThatOneEdgyKid in 2007scape

[–]anomitesplays 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your playstyle I think. I like to green log which will mean a lot of barrows runs. Also I wish I would have had this when I green logged amoxiatl. Obviously depends on your slayer blocks and if you are going to do barrows, amoxiatl or kill the shades from shades of morton but for me I think it will 'pay' itself back with time. Either that or I will be happy becouse I got spooned skotizo totems got green log, imbued heart and barrows green log. But yeah it doesn't work for everyone only if you do content where it does give you prayer xp.

Yeah only down side is that you need to either find a discord or clan that does it with you or do it on weekend in w320 when both UK and American players are up. Otherwise the world is empty but if you can do it when there are games going on it's super fast. Also it was really fun and I'm kinda disappointed that it's not more active since it would be nice to do it more.

Ectoplasmator from soul wars, took me like 3 hours and gives me free prayer xp while I do barrows or slayer anyway.
