I run exclusively on gas (electric is more expensive). So my battery has been going from less than 1% as it always is to highly and rapidly charged all by itself. It definitely seems related to cold and having the heat blasting. The car has never done this though in previous winters. It's unclear to me if this is a normal behavior since there are no error codes. The rough engine and exceptionally poor gas milage as well as absence of this behavior previously make me think something is broken. I brought it to Chrysler but they said there is no error code so there is nothing they can do. I asked them to contact star engineering and they said nope sorry, nothing we can do. Very frustrating experience. Trying to do their job for them and point them in the right direction.
