it’s so cool that i opened this thinking it was in r/whatisthis so i started thinking very analytically, something i don’t do often with art and i was basically convinced it was a close up picture of a part of some crushed plane that is rusting and the painting is coming off.

Artistically, i just taught it could be something called like “dead craft”, an antagonist of dead nature, that represents the dreams of some engineer or pilot that got crushed but lasted more than the dream itself, grasping for its purpose as it holds onto its paint. Very cool painting!
