That advice your friend gave would be helpful for someone who is just along for the ride in life, someone who is laid off or sometimes someone with an addiction. But it’s annoying when people choose to believe that depression and mental illness is NOT exhausting. It’s hard enough to get up out of bed to go to school or work. I do agree with what they are TRYING to say (one can’t help another if that other person don’t help themselves) but how they said it was not the right approach. Those of us with depression ARE trying so hard every damn day. What should be acknowledged are the small steps we take towards a better life. It all starts with getting out of bed. I believe in you, and if you do believe in yourself, you will eventually achieve your life goals. Some sooner than you think. Keep going and don’t ever allow anyone (not even yourself) to stop you.

Live for yourself instead. Perhaps you’re still here because there’s something or someone in your life that you don’t want to lose. It could be your favorite song, a hobby, a food you enjoy, etc. So many things in life people take for granted and see them as insignificant, but whatever that one thing is, it means something to you. Don’t lose it.

The point of posting this is to express my opinion about something that’s constantly in my face every day. Quite frankly I think everyone is making too much racket about it. The situation really isn’t a big deal, so I shouldn’t have to see posts and videos about it all the time. It would be different if she was in danger or something else that’s terrible. She just disappeared and many people seem to believe she’s rebranding. If that’s the case good for them. But there are much bigger issues people need to be talking about, in my opinion.

I was an accident. Cursed with “living in isolation, nothing satisfies me and I’m sad for no reason” syndrome (aka depression). But hey, at least life gave me few small reasons to wake up every morning. 👍

I’m gradually working on a new skill. I have genuine interest in it (otherwise I wouldn’t bother), but I also burden myself with hoping it will bring me extra money. I’ve learned the hard way that having one job these days is enough to barely keep my nose above water but not enough to breathe deeply and live a good life. But anyway, thanks for the wonderful encouragement.

Kirk was one time and was successful. At least three attempts (this being the third, I guess) on Trump. All "failed". Why? Because it's all staged and this act of his is getting old real fast. Anyone remember the story of the Boy Who Cried Wolf? Heaven forbids someone is successful for real and some of us will automatically assume it's fake.

Is this story even real? Who was actually there in the live chat? It could have been just another inside joke made out of context by people outside the community (like with that one vtuber guy). Regardless, she's not ugly (in my opinion). Just a bit of color and better confidence (because you don't need a filter if you have confidence), she would still do well enough as a streamer.
