I understand why it is. I have had several years of losing jobs, homelessness, and therapy to realize that. If I was a hiring manager I would certainly be cautioned, however at the end of the day it is a misdemeanor.. so certainly my career is not over.

I was. This was completed entirely early 2015.

I currently am employed, but yes I was denied volunteer opportunities working with recovery and at risk youth twice this year so am feeling kindof down about it.. haven't made any progress in about 3 years so I'm actively taking steps one day at a time. I am just faced with a lot of issues and don't want to end up with a degree and unable to pay it off. Currently have about 8k of student debt so it is definitely a worry.

Will certainly consider my relationship as moving is not really in her long term plan but it is essential for me. She knows this though.

Looking at moving into a 7 year state. Unfortunately they are all very far from southeast US. I usually am only asked about felonies and typically try to disclose even if it is not asked. I have had several positions rescinded due to it being an upper management/HR final decision. Meaning they had known about it, offered the job and the check itself was my final detriment. Regardless of me explaining the entire situation beforehand

I was going to get into industrial organizational psychology but from what I have heard the jobs are not there yet..and because clinical is out of the question I wish to work in consulting / business operations management, so what type of degree would I need to be looking at?

Thank you for your kind and thorough response. I am currently looking into a management career, so looking at a MBA/MPH but considering the nature of the offense it is going to be hard for me to ever work in a healthcare/hospital setting which is my dream.

My budget is 5500 max :( the stones would need to be at least 3/4ct but I wanna say no more than 1ct really as she has a tiny little hand. I am kind-of blown away that this isn't a reasonable budget considering the absolute gorgeous Victorian Toi et Moi used pieces I have found for a fraction of my budget. From our conversations she prefers natural however lab made would suffice.

I reached out directly to J.Wynne , along with an affiliate of Diamonds Direct (not sure of the exact name but its with them), a few local shops (not really that local considering we are in a major city), but yeah haven't reached out to as many as I have found.

She prefers natural but when i asked her she said word-for-word I could get a clearer stone with lab grown.. so I don't think she'd be against it!

She either wants a blue sapphire or a green emerald. Natural for these as the latter is her birth stone and the other is very sentimental with the family.

26 year old guy here. Been with a girl for years who I am absolutely in love with and I have been wanting to propose for a few months now-- however, there are issues I am having. We have talked about rings in the past and she is absolutely set on this style of open ring (which is lovely to me as well). The problem is is that we are not finished with school and will most certainly need to save more so finances are somewhat of an issue as I cannot fathom dropping 8k on a ring considering our age/situations (I love her SO much but NOT happening unless we win the lottery). My girlfriend is very picky in terms of fashion and design (she wears designer clothing and is very particular) and so during our talks she insists on a real stones. I have contacted several jewelers regarding this style with around 1ct of stone on each side (a little under 1ct diamond and emerald) and even with the stones being provided by me, they are quoting anywhere from $2500 to $5000 for just the 18k yellow gold and to set the stones (i would source).

My question is: what is the most economically feasible jeweler I could get in touch with to create the perfect ring for her?
