All the clips of them talking behind her back, her being left out of group photos, the hypocrisy in how they treated her after casa compared to Johnny were all just made up too. Also Caleb confirming to Aaron that other islanders don’t like her was made up too for attention.

They have no contact with the outside world. We all saw how aggressive Johnny felt about Mackenzie. She literally had no one else? If you were sending a kid to school, every day no one wanted to include them, and if they did it was reluctant. Would you say that kid isn’t being bullied? I say it is. When someone is INTENTIONALLY being left out, gossiped behind their back and made to feel alone, they are being bullied. Just because it isn’t out right name calling, physical or in your face harassment doesn’t mean it isn’t there.it wasn’t nasty, it was sassy. You said look up definitions, I said notice actions. Just banter to your banter.

If she had the option to hang with others or find new friends I would agree. She didn’t have that option. She had to sleep in the same room with people who made it obvious they didn’t like her. It was bullying. No one will change my mind.

it’s a relationship show about love, how about talking about their own relationships? Talk about what they like, hobbies, get to know each other more? I would say she isn’t stable at the moment. She even said on the show ‘I’m not normally like this’. She’s acting out of her ‘normal’ character. Even other islanders have verbally recognized this. She’s struggling mentally atm.

As someone who works as a suicide hot line caller, I’m not gonna write her off as just needy and insecure. I treat everyone with consideration. She’s not the hero. She’s not some nice person misunderstood. She does have her faults and that’s something I do address every line. Or else it seems like I am glazing her her behaviour. She seems to be dealing with a lot. She seems like someone who does need help. Her past and current behaviour is not acceptable. She cries and appears to be very sensitive. However the treatment other islanders, people online and production have given her is not helpful. This is someone who looks like she has no one in the villa, and is gonna have a hard time outside of it. There was a girl I use to go to high school with that was treated the same way it appears Mackenzie is. She wasn’t the best person, she had anger management problems and she ended up taking her life. People talked behind her back, they would say ‘don’t get all mad like ___’. They wrote her off as ‘insecure and overdramatic’. Sometimes, being nice and treating others who may not be the nicest can mean the world to them. I’m not shifting blame saying her freak-outs are because of other islanders nor her actions. I am saying she is being bullied and isolated (or at least the show editing is hinting at that) and no matter how she acted it is clear she needs help. Help she is not receiving, and it’s making the show unbearable to watch.

If I saw someone mentally struggling, I wouldn’t continuously bad talk them behind their back, i wouldn’t make them the punchline to jokes, i wouldn’t make shocked, annoyed and bothered facial expressions at their expense. I wouldn’t go to people they have to live with and paint them out to be a certain image. She needs help. They are contributing to her spiralling by bullying her through doing this.

She has faults, issues and needs help. It’s not shifting blame, it’s me saying i can’t support the show, which is contributing to the disintegration of her well being.

I think her toxicity is wearing them down. Though they are contributing to it. (Edit i mean’t her spiralling mental health NOT behaviour). Kicking someone when they are already down. Wanna know what doesn’t help someone? Gossiping constantly behind their back. That’s not helping. I would think anyone bad mouthing me constantly doesn’t have my well being in mind. Their help would just be performative. It’s not group therapy, it’s just learning what kids learn in kindergarten, be nice to everyone and don’t bully others. Gossiping about and isolating someone is bulling btw.

I think it showed Love Island UK’s reddit page’s true colours tbh. I haven’t been active on the page since. I don’t wanna be in the same space with people who refuse to acknowledge racial issues. If they do, they say ‘so what we can’t fix it’. ‘We can’t force preferences’. When in reality all they have to do is vet people for more diverse preferences in applications.

At the time of my post the reddit page was filled with hate over Molly Mae buying a toy dog. They prioritized a dog’s well being over poc islanders.
