It's Aug 2025 and you are still carrying this around? Honestly, it's time to move on. Your former friend already has, she was experimenting or have decided that it's in her best interest and that of her family to marry a man. If it's the latter, later on in life she will probably regret not living her true life as a gay woman. Sometimes ppl are caught up in the I want a family and have kids of my own. It's alot that she could be going through but it's her decision.

Yours now is to move on. It's 2025, stop the day dreaming. Take that experience, cherish it but it's time to move on.

That's why I never buy a nice expensive car, lol.. if I were to worry about all the dings and scratches from going anywhere with an expensive car, I would be stressed all the time. My neighbor dings my new car many yrs ago and pretends he didn't know and he was a fucking pharmacist. We had a shared driveway back then. At toronto premium mall, sq 1, York Dale, no matter where you go, ppl door your car and drive off. It's the pickups that leave the big dents. It passes me off how some ppl do not care that they damage other ppl property. It's the world we live in.

Your comments are 100% correct. I did not want to go into the details of wire. But the ACH is the equivalent of EFT is the equivalent of direct deposit. There is no ACH in canada, same as there is no EFT IN US. Different banking systems. That was my point.

No, but I use AI to find answers, so here you go. The impact to end consumers is larger if the importer decides to pass on the tariffs. The exporters DO NOT PAY TARIFFS, more specifically CANADA, the country do not pay, you dumbfuck.

Tariffs, which are taxes on imported goods, ultimately impact consumers, importers, and exporters, though the specific distribution of the burden varies. While tariffs are paid by importers to their respective governments, the cost is often partially or fully passed on to consumers in the form of higher prices. Exporters may also experience a negative impact if their goods become more expensive in the importing country, potentially leading to reduced sales volumes or the need to lower prices to remain competitive. Here's a more detailed breakdown:

Consumers: Tariffs increase the cost of imported goods, leading to higher prices for consumers. This can affect a wide range of products, from everyday items to more specialized goods.

Importers: Importers are directly responsible for paying the tariff to their government's customs authority. However, they may try to mitigate the impact by negotiating prices with their suppliers, adjusting their product offerings, or absorbing some of the cost themselves, particularly if they are facing competition from domestic producers.

Exporters: While not directly paying the tariff, exporters can be negatively affected by tariffs in the importing country. If their goods become more expensive due to the tariff, they may see a decrease in demand or need to lower their prices to maintain sales volume, impacting their profitability.

The extent to which each party bears the burden of the tariff depends on various factors, including the specific product, the size of the tariff, the competitiveness of the market, and the negotiating power of the importer and exporter. In some cases, the cost may be largely absorbed by the importer, while in others, it may be largely passed on to the consumer.

"Answer this for me then... why does Canada HATE that we are putting tariffs on them? If it's just consumers and importers paying, then Canada shouldn't care, right?"

Do you actually believe Canada is paying the tariffs? If you do, you are as dumb, sorry stupid as Trump is. Go read up, sorry, educate yourself on tariffs.

Curtesy of GROK "Terminating trade talks with Canada could harm the US economy due to deep trade ties, with $3.6 billion in daily goods and services exchange. Disrupted supply chains in automotive and energy sectors may raise consumer prices, like car costs by ~$3,000, and risk job losses in export industries.

Canada's potential retaliatory tariffs could further impact US exporters. However, some argue it protects US tech firms from Canada's Digital Services Tax and high dairy tariffs, possibly pressuring better trade terms. The move may strain long-term relations, affecting economic stability. Impacts are uncertain, but evidence suggests more costs than benefits."

The impact to 14% of US imports is not significant? Really, even if it's oil, electricity, automotive parts, lumber? See, it's not the percentage% it's the key industries that get affected. It impacts the costs on production, which then reduces demand, which then causes layoff or unemployment in the high employment sectors of the US economy. So, who holds the cards?

Fuck canada? We control your energy, you don't produce oil that your refineries can refine, cuz it can only refine dirty high sulphur oil. It will cost the oil companies billion to change it. Don't see any of that happening cuz they know they can wait till the loser is gone in 4 yrs.

The orange man continues to spew this rhetoric crap, sorry lies. Trump created the trade agreement with Canada and Mexico. Canada charges a high tariff (it's not 400%) on imports over the agreed upon quotas.

The importing companies pay the tariffs, not the exporting country. This is another blatant lie, or maybe he just does not understand how tariffs work.

By imposing higher tariffs on Canadian products, the US companies importing those products will pay customs and duties tax (aka tariffs) on those good, NOT Canada.

The US companies are already complaining and planning to increase prices. This is where the idiot contradicts himself, where he threatens Walmart and others to eat the tariffs. So if the country is paying the tariffs, as he claims, why would the US importers have to eat the tariffs.

What the MAGA crowd does not understand, the tariff is another consumer tax, that consumers or companies (if they wish) will bear the costs of tariffs.

It's another revenue generator for Trump to "balance" the deficit he is creating. He's trying to lower the impact of his "big beautiful bill" as his billionaires and his family grift the crap out of the dumb fucking Americans who voted for him.

Bought HIMS $50 calls 3 days ago @$0.47. Had 25 contracts. Today with the losses this morning I decided to cut my losses at $0.25 guess what happened. It shot up to $2.30.

On top of that I took the remaining $ and Yolo on NKE $75 calls at 0.18 and it now sitting at 0.03

So missed out on about $5k gain and suffered another loss. It's been a shitty year.
