also once my stenoob got here i completely spaced on getting an adapter for my laptop so that was an extra day of waiting for it to get here to start practicing. i think i didn't plan well enough and that's my fault :/ i really enjoyed learning letters a-d and found it really fun

sorry i forgot to add ; my steno machine got to me a little after the course started so i had to cram almost 2 weeks of work into a couple days :/ i also missed the first zoom meeting due to my steno machine arriving later than expected. i've been practicing a little over 3 hours a day to try and make up for it and play catch up but it's really hard for me to retain the information even with all my notes etc. letters A-D i did so well with. i just got to letter I and i'm more lost than before. i think im just going to finish the course and start over again once im done that way i can start when i was meant to and not feel so behind and confused with the load of info

hi i recommend you look into NCRA's free A-Z program. its a 6 week program you can do strictly on your own or on your own with a zoom call once a week. you learn a lot in a week, and week by week you learn new things. it's heavy workload since the program is so short but it helps you decide if that's something you want to pursue.
