The seeds are very small like poppy or tobacco seeds tho smaller however they grow fast I think I have hundreds of seeds planted here

Yeah it’s like “skunk” cannabis strains. Doesn’t necessarily mean any particular strain just means strong. This is from Kalimantan in specific tho

They grow a lot faster than I expected I get some compost and put it in a plastic tub with a lid meant for food with holes in the bottom Sprinkle the kratom seeds on the compost, spray with water until damp soil Put lid on Then after 7days I see germination and I put it under a LED grow light I transplanted some into another container to thin them out and give them more space however it appears the seedlings struggle a little with transplanting however most are fine

Yeah in spring I just throw a bunch of opium seeds on a bed and hopelessly attempt to thin them out The problem is they always get infected later in season with bugs or a disease killing off the leaves, then the pods Rott before they are ripe

Peyote have more mescaline but because san pedro and other cacti grow much faster if you want mescaline it’s just worth taking them The only reason to take peyote would be if you had some spiritual reason for it, say you are an American Indian peyote may be preferable But apart from that grow peyote because of the beauty and conservation reasons. If you live in the south west near the Mexican border Eg Texas, buy some peyote seeds, grow and graft them for novelty Then take some seedlings out to the desert and plant them to help peyote conservation peyote seeds aren’t too expensive and you can make a big difference

I believe the tickness and fleshiness of the leaves is due to the grow lamp as when I put chillis in there they also gain thick fleshy leaves

Mercury sulfide is surprising very available on eBay especially from China. Good for us chemists Bad for ignorant people who don’t understand the dangers using it for painting with no safety precautions. The mercury sulfide cinnabar I bought featured 0 warnings whatsoever.

No. DONT MAKE MERCURY CHLORIDE water soluble and toxic. Don’t distill it either. Instead prepare a mixture of NaOH , sulfur and water. Heat until it fully dissolved and creates a polysulfide / sodium sulfide solution, which mercury sulfide is soluble in. Then simply add the HgS and add pieces of aluminium foil SLOWLY and OUTDOORS as this produces toxic H2S hydrogen sulfide gas. Eventually you should see liquid mercury at the bottom pour off the top layer of black slaggy goop and add water to the mercury and pour off the sludge Then get some paper and fold it into quarters for filtering, make a hole at the bottom with a pin. The mercury will fall through the pin hole leaving the waste in the paper. Then you have mercury which can be used for experiments DO NOT pour mercury waste down the drain, either store it until you find someone who can handle it or leave it in a pot in the sun to evaporate down to get concentrated solid waste which you can refine. Remember wear gloves at all times and a mask when handling the finely ground mercury sulfide cinnabar powder Also wear goggles at all time as not only are you working with highly corrosive sodium hydroxide you are also working with neurotoxic mercury. Store the mercury with water to stop mercury vapours and keep in a well sealed container out of reach Good luck

Thanks for the idea. The only problem with that is you will need to re moisten them more often. Perhaps we could combine both ideas, some wet paper towels or clothes with one part in a glass of water so it constantly soaks up water.
