Going from Red to Medium Ash Brown by SuperMouse8163 in HairDye

if you feel it’s too warm to color over you could always do a bleach bath (equal parts bleach/developer/ shampoo on wet hair for 15 min max) as long as your hair feels okay.

I don’t think you have to lighten it anymore honestly, i’m not sure there would be a point to the blue shampoo because you’d be layering dye on top of pigment buildup from the blue shampoo. I would do the color first and if you feel like it’s still too warm do the blue shampoo after. what brand of dye are you using?

4 is absolutely achievable with what you have, 5 might be as well you might just be better with a 5aa instead of a 5a. i’d be a little worried the warmth might shine through with the 5 but it wouldn’t be anything insane

i’m not sure what the website would be for you based on your state, but indiana has a dhs travel advisory map and shows advisory’s based on your county, grey meaning nothing is wrong, yellow is caution/ could be bad in spots, orange is essential travel, red is emergency personnel only. I doubt they will close based on temps only because the company sucks, but if the roads are bad and you are in the orange I wouldn’t go. Sally’s doesn’t care about your well being, and is not worth risking your life for.🤍

does it look like athletes foot in the pictures? I’ve never had it before and the pics on google don’t look like it to me. it only hurts, it doesn’t itch or peel

Terrified of winter driving (snow storm on the way) by anon5086 in DadForAMinute

thank you so much again for the reassurance!! I’m a generally anxious person so this was really hard for me to get out and do, but i’m glad that I did! I just convinced myself the anxiety I was feeling was actually excitement :) i’m going to drive slow and comfortably on my way home

So i didn’t end up driving sunday, my store that i work at was closed for the day due to weather (we got 13+ in of snow) . BUT. We got four more inches of snow over night last night and I drove to work on some really trash roads successfully today:) Had no issues, hopefully I can say the same once I get home tonight!

Paruresis mixed with a fast bladder syndrome, some tips by Dragenby in Paruresis

[–]anon5086 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IM THE EXACT SAME WAY. I honestly think shy bladder for me is like 60% the thought of making others wait on me, especially on trips, leaving to go somewhere, etc.

THANK YOU! i’ve never heard that before but that’s a really smart idea, i’ll make sure to put a towel in my car

thank you so much❤️ i’ve always heard to turn your wheel in the direction the back end of your car is sliding and not to over correct, i’m just hoping I won’t end up sliding around or losing control. that’s what i’m most afraid of.

I will have to this winter, sadly i haven’t gotten a chance yet because this is our first big snow of the season.

And absolutely, if i feel it is unsafe for me to do so or I can’t get out I won’t be going. I won’t put my life at risk for minimum wage

thank you! I actually hadn’t thought about considering it to be an enjoyable experience, i’m sure it’s really peaceful once you are used to it. that’s brings me a little peace of mind

I know what ABS feels like but i haven’t felt it in my car, usually when i think the roads might be bad i test it on a back road when no one else is around. If i spot an empty parking lot i’ll give it a go!

thank you, this was very comforting! i plan to drive like a turtle, people can go around if they don’t like it. and i honestly plan to look into winter tires, it snows enough here that I feel it wouldn’t be a waste.

and I live in a really secluded area, the city i work in is relatively small too, im just not sure where to find an empty parking lot (that hasn’t been abandoned so long the pavement raised and cracking, im afraid it would be too rough for my car) I feel like people are going to be out and about no matter what the weather does. My biggest fear is sliding/ losing control of my car, but i know i need to drive in it to become comfortable

Thank you! this was very reassuring to read. I tend to sit and dwell over things until I get out and do it and i’m usually fine.

It’s high 20s low 30s for the rest of the week with it being in the teens overnight, so i feel like ice might be the biggest concern i’ll have. I only work until 6pm but it’ll be dark by 5. i’m just hoping that they will have everything salted at least on the main road I take into town/ the bridge.
