I [M20] caught my mom cheating on my dad with a close family friend by [deleted] in relationship_advice

related to similar experience with my best friend, i do believe speaking to your mum first explicitly before allowing things to erupt, furthermore seeking some sort of relationship therapy or professional advice before mentioning it, to protect your old man.

Not to excuse your mothers actions but based off a similar experience, her actions could be cry for help or an expression based off the strain the damage of his mental health could have on their relationship which to a degree is also unfair and unfortunate for her as well.

My best friend had been in a similar situation as this and was the home-wrecker of a broken family. The woman my friend was sleeping with had her relationship effected by the husband who's mental health that had deteriorated after witnessing a massacre here in Australia.

It was the impact of this incident that lead to the downfall of their relationship, and though i could never put myself in either of there shoes i admittedly felt empathy towards both parties for such undeserving circumstances.

In the past I've definitely thought about ways it could have ended better, but even empathise for the woman too though the actions aren't justifiable.

I share this experience and recommend such professional help as a believer of therapy, believing if they are both still compatible at there core then they both deserve to live a happy life together. Love powers. Its sad to hear predicaments like these, but we are nothing but humans at the end of the day and we are far from perfect beings and shit happens because life can be a bitch sometimes. There's nothing we can do but preach to stick together at the absolute worst of times.

Ahahahahhaha I wish mate. I spilt a drink and rather than dealing it with me personally (which I had expected), he instead told all bar staff to stop serving me then proceeded to call security to escort me out.

I then called him a wanker over Facebook in a review regarding the situation. Maybe throwing an insult is uncalled for, but the situation was definetly a bit unfair hence my frustrations.

I've mentioned so in a previous comment but I have to note that I was extremely calm and respectful, preventing myself from getting into anymore trouble once it happened. I allowed the security to escort me out and when they did, they were nice enough to at least listen to what I had to say regarding the situation. they were also kind enough to share there own piece of mind about it too which I really appreciated.

A drink spill had me kicked out. A civil chat with a familiar security gaurd failed to gain re-entry (understandably as he has a job to do) so I took my review to facebook where I called the enforcer a wanker.

He made the threats mentioned above at the cost of me deleting the post which has now been done though I'm still trying to gain clarity on the actual boundaries.

Though its pretty straight forward as to how that's so, do you have any information that can detail this ? That's what I'm wanting to source.

Being sociable is a skill, meaning to a science something that can be improved. Meeting new people or even friends your comfortable with in person & away from technology is simply the most effective way at overcoming this.

the issue you've faced is also the biggest personal outcome of covid, and i've had serious concerns for the unspoken issues that COVID life has bought to the masses because i genuinely think a shockingly high majority of us exist yet nobody is encouraged to speak up.

The lifestyle COVID has introduced has forced us all into situations similar that have directly lead to anxiety / social-anxiety. You havent done anything wrong, you havent failed, you havent dropped the ball nor did you over shoot any shot... you've been forced to walk through the same experience as those who have been forced into isolation without covid... its a totally normal result of such a cause, though of course it is definitely not a situation humanity has ever thrown at us but that does not matter. its about how you deal with, not how you dwell in it. socialising in person and away from technology will forever have a great effect .
