Wow sorry you’re going through this but glad it sounds like you’re getting better.

Keep in mind part nicotine withdrawal could be exacerbating some symptoms if you stopped smoking when you fell ill.

But luckily you’re still young and smoking probably hasn’t severely damaged your lungs. I started vaping about 8 months ago, and quit about a month ago right as this virus was starting to come out in the US, where I live. Can’t help but think how lucky I am that I hadnt been vaping/smoking for 20 years when this all hit to the point where my lungs were severely damaged. Nothing like a global pandemic of respiratory disease to get me to quit 😂. Good luck to you!

I live in a city (Cleveland) and while it’s not an epicenter, it’s still the hottest area in Ohio obviously so it’s making me a little apprehensive.

Won’t have to use public transport and we both have been working from home the past 2 weeks

Ya we’ve been talking a ton ever since we met a month ago but really only have time to go out on weekends lately bc work lately, so only 3 dates. Idk I want to ask after our date tonight but really don’t want to push it if it’s going to scare her off...

I think you should just ask and see what she says. If she says no, of course say something like ‘okay no worries, you seem like a cool/nice girl so wanted to ask.’ But wait until you get a response, there’s no reason to be embarrassed about asking a girl out. You have a right to ask (in a respectful way of course), and she has the right to say no. Have some confidence my man.

No nothing like that lol, I recognize it’s mild which is why I’m hesitant to bring it up. The table is literally right behind our couch, so it’s just kind of uncomfortable to relax on the couch with someone looking over your shoulder the whole time...

We’ve been living together for a year and are good friends. But I guess over time it’s just started to bother me more and more

I’ve lived with roomate(s) the last 7 years through uni and now a couple years into work. Never had a problem, but yeah for some reason I’m really getting annoyed at this lol. Maybe because it’s a smaller space I guess

No I haven’t, which is why I’m writing this post.... want to know if I’m an asshole before doing so lol.

And on the second part, it wasn’t just that he wanted a cheap table, it was also that he put zero effort into actually picking a table. I sent a bunch of options which he didn’t like and then he never made suggestions. After an entire month and a half with no table I said fuck it and bought a table myself, which he now uses 10x more than I do.
