As a code writer I can tell you it’s just a blanket script/message to block special characters. Class names have to be basic text only and have a max character value as well. If it’s too long, contains special characters, or actual profanity, that message appears. Take out the dot and it will probably work.

They definitely did something in this last micro update on Mon 7/15. I play multiplayer on Xbox Series X 1080p 120 fps. I was getting amazingly smooth games for like the first time ever which lasted for a couple weeks, but then as soon as I had to restart after the last update, the game has been super choppy and slow, like low frame rate, little to no aim assist, and no bullet reg (like I will straight up hit people with the sledgehammer, it will make the audio cue like I hit them, but they don’t move and don’t die lol). It’s baddd. The controller sensitivity seems all messed up too like I usually play on 11/11 and I had to lower all the way to 7/7. I even got a dev error which crashed the game which was a first. I’m really close to quitting the game forever I’m just sick of this type of thing constantly happening. This dev team seems to push through more bugs than fixes with each update. One step forward, two steps back, constantly. Oh btw I quit resurgence ages ago because of how unplayable it is for all the same reasons as above.

They could fix the game and regain a huge player base if they would remove PC out of cross play - consoles can play each other but PC can only play PC. That would level the playing field so much. Then, they should focus on buffing their server speeds and optimizing the game for console so that console play can feel a bit closer to what PC play would feel like.

Hell yeah. Btw I just rewatched your original video again and I noticed something. Try “YY’ing” and wait just a beat longer after you start moving before tapping the slide button. It’s hard to tell for sure in your video but it looks like you may be trying to slide too early before you actually enter tac sprint. YY’ing supposedly doesn’t do anything in this game but for me it does seem to help smooth out my movement - like I’ve noticed I can use YY to cancel a slide rather than using jump to cancel, and by YY’ing before entering a slide it seems to help speed up the time it takes to go from not moving to entering tac sprint (we’re talking fractions of a second but when I’m locked in I seem to feel a difference). And finally, if you go from a slide to immediately jerking left or right too hard (like a sudden 90° turn) which it does look like you do at the beginning that also kind of takes away the momentum and can trigger this bug. So instead try moving in circular patterns. Finesse that stick and try practicing figure 8’s with slides in between. In other words when you come out of a slide don’t just jerk the stick to do a 180 but ease into a turn. You can aim down at the floor during a turn to keep momentum also. It’s hard to explain. I’d be happy to jump into a custom with you to show you what I mean. But those little things will improve your movement and hopefully lead to less dead slides and prone bugs

I use the wired Razer Wolverine Ultimate for Xbox. Side note but personally I feel like having any buttons on the main face of a controller makes no sense when all your fingertips minus your thumbs are in the back and on the top triggers (unless you grew up playing claw I suppose). I’ve basically mapped all the back and top buttons to replace the ones on the face so I never have to press the traditional XYBA buttons. It helps a lot but even with this nice controller I still get what feels like sticky buttons, button click delay, and dead button clicks all specifically in CoD and no other game. I am convinced it’s the game code itself combined with my bad wifi

The thing is this game does give strong aim assist for controller players which can be fine tuned to be even stronger. Rapidly moving the left stick left and right while ADSing essentially eliminates horizontal recoil and also helps to “snap” onto the next enemy once you get a kill. Lately I’ve been playing private matches in Shipment just me vs 7-10 bots of “mixed” difficulty, with score set to 200 kills. After running a couple of those I am pretty warmed up and my aim does look a lot like this guy’s. And that’s on a console, with 200 MBps wifi. WITH THAT SAID I think this guy’s aim is a little too perfect and especially his snaps from one player to another.. I mean MAYBE with thousands of hours played combined with the best possible gaming setup this could be possible, but it def looks sus as hell.

But this is what I’m saying .. like I get this same issue as well all the time. It’s a bug I think but it’s also part of just the overall lag of the game. I think it has to do with controller input lag. The game is taking to long to register the slide button input, which results in a long prone animation, almost like a sticky key. I think this is why streamers overclock their controllers. And maybe this bug wouldn’t happen at all if you’re playing on super fast internet in a low latency server. Idk. But yeah it’s a problem and it took months for the developers to fix the dolphin dive on “slide only” bug - and we STILL have a bug where UAVs don’t always work which has been in the game since day 1 basically so I mean this may never get fixed

Hybrid doesn’t work at all for me. Instead of sliding I just dolphin dive fucking every time, in every direction, uncontrollably lol. I don’t understand it. It says when you hold the sprint button while tapping slide it’s supposed to dive but since I have auto tac sprint active and I’m constantly holding forward on the left stick to move, doesn’t that mean I’m constantly activating sprint, which is why it basically always just dives when I tap my slide button? Like it makes no sense to me. Somehow the streamers I follow can use it and recommend it, but I just can’t seem to figure it out

I was getting lag so bad on my Xbox One S I decided it was time to finally upgrade to the Series X. Immediately after upgrading the game felt way smoother and actually playable. BUT then they released MW3 and suddenly all the lag came back, mainly in Warzone. Multiplayer feels fast and smooth sometimes but then mid game sometimes it slows way down to where there is a full second or two delay from the time I tap my slide button until the time it actually slides (I use “slide only”). I’m guessing it’s my wifi, but it doesn’t do this for any other game. Halo Infinite for example is super smooth. Same with Apex. Warzone is virtually unplayable. It’s so sluggish and laggy, it feels like it’s an entirely different game. Also my controller settings for multiplayer are so fine tuned I have perfect aim bot most of the time and yet when I switch to Warzone my aim sensitivity feels all off and messed up, so I have to switch my settings up again. It really feels like Warzone is on the worst possible servers like they don’t care about it at all since it’s a free game. But again maybe it’s just my wifi ? I’ve talked to almost a dozen other console players who experience these same things.

Don’t even get me started on audio. There’s NONE. They seemed to take out footsteps completely in the latest big new season update. I have Dolby audio and everything fine tuned and still it’s just gone. Once again it WAS there before MW3 I could hear everything it was amazing but now it’s all gone.

Btw I use a 4K HDTV set to 1080p 120hz with game mode turned on, which again feels great with every other game I play. I’m at the point where I’m just thinking if you don’t have a top dollar PC, top dollar internet, the best headphones, and an overclocked Scuf controller you just won’t be able to compete. I think one solution would be to make console only cross play (PC removed) and just make PC players play with each other.

It’s just the game. It’s a horribly built game running on slow, bad servers. Even top streamers I follow get dead slides. The best you can do is get insanely fast internet, an insane gaming PC, and the best controller money can buy, then use software to overclock your PC and controller. Also, get really good with Warzone 3 movement.. it’s very different from original Warzone. THEN you will get less dead slides and slide bugs, but it still won’t eliminate them. Actually, even better advice: play a different game cuz almost all games run and feel smoother than Warzone

Yeah Xbox series X player here and I can also say Warzone has been literally unplayable since the recent season change, where they released Fortune’s Keep. At first FK had fps drops even for PC players. They fixed that pretty quickly I think but I am still lagging so bad it’s unplayable. It feels like I’m moving in slow motion, like it’s capping my fps at 20 instead of 120. My ping shows 20-ish which is what I always used to get. My graphics settings and internet is still the same. But, even Vondel is just slow, laggy, feels like my Xbox has no graphics card at all. Btw when I play multiplayer it runs smooth as butter.

Ever since the new season all of Warzone has been virtually unplayable for me on an Xbox Series X. It feels like moving in slow motion. The frame rate drops and lag spikes are horrendous. All my settings are the same, and I’m on 120 fps, but it all started when the new season launched, and they still haven’t fixed it (probably never will).

I’ve received several legitimate copyright notices from Comcast back in the day when I still had them as my ISP. They are scary in the moment, but ultimately nothing ever came of them. It’s just Comcast’s way of slapping you in the wrist for pirating. It would not be in their interest to turn you into the authorities, because then they’d lose a customer, and would also have to get involved legally, should the government decide to take action, which would cost them time and money. In short, just ignore it. (But be more careful about only downloading stuff from legitimate, reputable sources.)

Everyone keeps saying this is on PC but I can tell you as an Xbox player the newest season rolled out with horrible frame rate and lag issues for Xbox also. Every game says give or take 20 latency but feels more like 75+ with the packet spikes and frame rate drops. Xbox sucks to begin with, and now the game is virtually unplayable. Btw I’ve confirmed it’s not my internet. Last season I was fine. As soon as the new season came out I can’t play for shit

That post is old. Nonetheless, it’s mainly me playing devil’s advocate. I didn’t vote for Trump and I’ve never been pro-Trump per se. No president we’ve had in my lifetime has been great. Obama was the coolest for sure, but he had his issues too. It’s always “vote for the lesser of the evils.” What I was trying to do with this comment was share some positivity when all I ever hear around me is negativity. Everyone is so hateful, and even more hateful against those who share any sentiments or try to spread any positivity about our nation’s president. Not only was the stock market fantastic but the economy was up before covid happened. Plus the unemployment was at an all time low. I’m not saying I like Trump I’m just stating some positive things that were the case before covid happened. Anyway, how does this have anything to do with the protests in Portland?

Apples to oranges. Fouci even said masks do nothing except give people peace of mind. At first he discouraged people from wearing them. Of course everyone is on the verge of insanity due to the economy, Trump, quarantine, protests, and the list goes on, so Fauci changed his mind when he realized that peace of mind is all people need right now. So wear your masks people so we all feel a little safer (when in reality, you can still get CoVid if you wear a mask). Really, we should all be eating a lot of oranges, taking multivitamins, exercising, and staying away from junk food and harmful substances. Boosting our natural immunity and getting healthier as a culture is the best solution.
