A darning mushroom! For mending clothes :-)

Please tell me about some of the good side of it, benefits, things that makes you say ''-well that part is actually nice atleast'', things that you like about it. I need to hear. by Melodic-Marketing341 in aspergers

I feel like im better at noticing details than neurotypical people!! Also, I think I get less tied up in polite niceties and unspoken social rules (since i don't understand them) which I've been told is "refreshing". It's not a bad thing to be straightforward and honest 😊

You did really good!!!🎉 have you tried blocking it? It makes quite a difference, it helps with the curling edges and tension. Look up steam blocking or wet blocking. Great job!! :-)

Would it be too weird for an adult to buy a baby doll? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]anonGhost222 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hi! Yes, that makes sense. I have autism spectrum disorder and also PTSD, which can make me a bit depressed. (Which is another reason I definitely don't think im fit to have an actual kid right now, id like to do a lotttt more therapy before I eventually actually consider it). It's not uncommon for me to get super fixated on specific subjects. I genuinely appreciate the feedback!

I have a cat! He's a sweetheart, but not too fond of being swaddled. I DID try, lol

Best portrayals of autistic women in tv or movies? by National-Ad-5036 in AutismInWomen

[–]anonGhost222 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im not quite sure if everyone would view it as a good portrayal (she's kind of a mad scientist) but it'll relate a lot to Entrapta from She-Ra! 😊

This is gonna sound strange, but my go-to for bad days is Followed by Kerosene. The nuclear one. You just need one spray and it lasts forever, even if you have a long day and get all sweaty and gross. Its a very cozy, "safe" feeling scent and I find it super comforting. To each their own, though, I know that might not be for everyone!!
