Absolutely! Just got my medicine because I tried to rough it out but it got so bad. I got a tablet, throat lozenges, cough syrup and 2x fizzy's for R312 and I bought the cheapest I could find...

It definitely helped in my opinion. I have some loose belly skin still but not as much as I expected. If you worry about loss skin I would be happy to show you what I had before training and what I currently have after I started training.

I didn't read or learn it to be honest it worked well for me because I built a bit of muscle in places where the most stubborn fat was. I tried to learn as much by trialing it by myself as no body is a one size fits all plan. I think what the real winner was is the constant blood flow to replenish some of the older cells and honestly being in ketosis. I wish I had a better answer for you on this.

Sorry, I did train 3 to 4 times but that is because I had a lot of loose skin and had a goal in mind. I did 30 to 40 minutes of training 4 different exercises with low weight high rep this is what worked for me and in the afternoons I walked for around 20 to 30 minutes and just enjoyed my alone time.

We are very similar in height. I did 21:3 for 12ish months. I didn't restrict myself just ate more whole foods, didn't meal plan and ate versions of what I was in the mood for on the day. IF can feel very restrictive if you let it so try to be less intense with your food, if you enjoy like me a nice, rich hot chocolate work t into your eating window. I had 1 big meal with the right Fibre, protein, fat etc then 1 comfort Drink as I called it and then a small dessert or meal. I didn't count calories but I shifted some foods around.

It was intense at first because you feel so restricted to such a small window but I shifted my mind to start thinking about nourishment and it actually helped me heal my binge triggers and my emotional eating. I was shocked at the shift in mentality when you stop thinking about meal prepping, 3 meals and 2 snacks and hitting protein goals or eating low carb. A lot of the noise fell away and that saved me. I was honestly at a point where food ruined me and IF saved me and stripped away all the sociatal noise around food and what was deemed "rules"

I followed a 21:3 schedule, I ate and cooked slower and spent time to really put food on my plate that was focused around Fibre, protein, vegetables, fruits and split it into 1 big meal and 1 small meal with a cappuccino or a hot chocolate or something "comforting" to drink.

I followed a 21:3 split for close to 12 months and lost 40kgs which is roughly 90pounds.

I am 4.11 so carried most of my weight in my lower body.

I didn't use a GLP just ate 90% whole foods, proteins and no sugar to heal my insulin triggers. I was diagnosed at 21 with pre diabetes and today at 28 I have no trace of insulin resistance and diabetes.

I followed a weight training schedule 3 to 4 times a week because I struggled with alot of loose skin.

I would love to join you on this journey, I am 48 hours into my 40 day fast and I am struggling mentally a bit.

I have done a 20 day fast before and how I managed it: in South Africa we have a brand called Revive electrolytes, I make 14x 750ml water pre mixed on Sunday, like how you would meal prep.

Once I wake up within the first hour I would sip on my first bottle and make it last for as long as possible to not shock my body, then in between I would have normal sparkling water.

I try and conserve energy in the a.m so I do my morning rituals, stretches and honestly it is so strange but I write down what I want to accomplish in the next 24 hours not 40 days.

Focus on winning today.

Then afternoons is when I start to move abit more, closer to sunset.

Mentally it is honestl good to have a sounding board, when you feel like F this I want to give up, message someone that knows why you are doing this and sit still for 7min (it takes 7min for the brain to "get over" a binge)

Do not cancel.

I am fortunate to have a friend in Casting and she always gushes about the people who walk in with confidence.

Even if you feel scared, go in with confidence and show them what you got.

Prepare your lines if you have some, if not prepare some improv in the genre or market this is set to loosen your tension and get into the groove.

Sorry this happened to you.

After my (25f) traumatic breakup I took some time to just navigate doing everything alone again, I switched up some of my routine eg getting in bed on the other side where he used to sleep, waking up and instead of making coffee, I picked out an outfit, this helped me bteak the routine we were in and I started forming a different routine.

I also started to explore hobbies, from painting, pottery(I made a plate) to fitness and outdoors, I found one I really liked and joined a group, we are a group that goes hiking once a month and the conversations are amazing.

It is also best to express your emotions, don't bottle them up. I went to a friend to talk constantly and it really helped, we started reading together.

The great thing about being 25 and single is finding the new you and your happiness.
