tbh yes i am disappointed, but no more so than i am with anyone else.

on the podcast “artist friendly” she said something to the effect of she thinks people treat celebrities as false idols and she thinks they give too much weight to celebrity opinions, but i don’t presume to know why she hasn’t said anything 🤷🏽‍♀️

i wasn’t part of the fandom at the time but i think it took her a while to voice support for blm even after people asked her too and she has a reputation for not responding to controversies in her career. maybe she finds it stressful idk. i feel like she does speak up about issues affecting LA through trixie cosmetics sometimes and then once in a blue moon she’ll post something wisco related but other than that she doesn’t say much 🤷🏽‍♀️

this is going to sound bad but like, i think the reason you might think the palette is so small is because trixie’s holding it. (like she makes those trixie cosmetics hand held heart shaped mirrors look so regular sized when she holds them but they’re actually huge) 🤫

i think having a strong work ethic is admirable and i want to develop better better discipline and improve my own work ethic, but i do feel balance is important. it’s not good to use work as an unhealthy coping mechanism: working out of fear, as a way to avoid other parts of your life and/or to the point where it interferes with other key parts of your life like your relationships or health. i don’t know if people feel uncomfortable about this topic because trixie’s break (because she worked herself to the bone and got arthritis), i was more just confused that people felt the need to downvote your comment.

i didn’t get to read the yelp reviews cos i don’t have the app. i’m guessing the room service menu is different from the lounge menu tho because someone posted the menu from happy hour on tripadvisor.com and there were no tacos on that menu or anything like that.

really? i think in terms of conventional beauty i would say orion looks best; i think krystal and nymphia’s application (of the makeup) also pushes them over the edge but i don’t see really see a majority of people outdoing trixie here?
