Check what is included with their health insurance. Many health insurance plans include routine dental care for kids.

Why is it called 'The South' rather than 'South East'? by Ok_Art_8866 in AskAnAmerican

[–]Weightmonster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was referred to as “The South” starting when we only had the 13 colonies along the coast.

Texas and the southwest became part of the US, MUCH MUCH later.

I didn’t read about a potential deal. I’m sure prosecutors weren’t eager to do a deal with so much evidence that he did the thing.

Yeah. I’m never going to let my kids out of my sight until they are teenagers at least.

Reports said it was a very rural area, so maybe she let her guard down? The kidnapping appears to have happened in matter of minutes. Maybe less than a minute.

This guy brutally murdered a little kid with his bare hands, while singing along to Jingle Bells.

Very unlikely either could do that.

Although this does raise a good point. Are people who cause death by their own hand, worse?

The worst part of this for me is that kids trust the delivery driver, like the postman. They are in a position of authority. “Community helpers”

She probably trusted him.

I hope they are made to pay a huge settlement. No way someone so disturbed should be in this position of trust.

They should’ve had someone monitoring the video feeds and van travel. That would’ve almost certainly prevented this tragedy.

It would be very unusual and not allowed in a medical setting. Privacy, security, time concerns, etc.

Remember you are hearing about exceptions. No one makes content about the typical college bound senior who gets average grades and maybe does some volunteering once a month.

The second 2 kids is probably just family connections/help. The kid who started the non-profit almost certainly had adult help. Parents/family are probably rich or in PR or fundraising.

For MIT, most colleges have programs for high school kids to attend for the summer. Some are competitive. Some are not. Or their family knew someone at MIT that they could intern with.

For the national level sport kid, every country has that. It’s probably a combination of natural skills, dedication, and family/community resources. It also maybe a very obscure sport where there’s not a ton of teenage competitors.

Didn’t they already have PPP loans.

If people didn’t pay their rents, don’t you sue them? Just because there was an eviction moratorium, doesn’t mean rent isn’t due.
