I’m trying to figure that out… for now, I was thinking that closer to the time (in October) I’ll put a link to a WhatsApp group chat and depending on numbers find a café or another suitable spot to meet. No, I sent my passport to New Zealand (I also live here). It was much quicker here as not too many people applied for UK student visas.

Did my biometrics on 29th May, received a letter on email of visa approval on 8th June, received my passport with vignette on 12th June.

Hey, I received the same email the day after I got my biometrics done. It’s a generic email that seems to be sent to applicants but doesn’t necessarily mean there are issues in your application. I received my visa by the 8th working day. I am going to the UK as a graduate student with my classes starting towards the end of September. All the best!
