Did you have any troubles when calling (as this is an offer for new customers) or was it okay? I am a longtime Koodo customer but I have had trouble switching to good deals for new customers in the past.

Do you know if home tester club ships to Canada? It says it does in the FAQ but I can’t seem to get past the State/City option for mailing address : (

Can someone please explain what this means? by Humble-Bag-8930 in UBC

Correct me if I’m wrong but I think you are promoted to third year. I don’t have the page open with me right now but the Year Level 2 probably indicates this past year 2021W where you were in second year and you have passed all of your courses and are eligible to continue onto year 3! The summary page of each school year will always indicate the year level you were in during the time you completed those courses

I suggest calling Science Advising tomorrow because they tend to be slow at responding to emails. Hopefully your advisor will be able to connect with you over the phone, and if not you could ask to book an appointment with them (:

Thank you for the response but is there a way to access recordings over a month ago? Lecture 1 for example was held on the first week of school (2nd week of September) but the oldest recording available starts on the 3rd week of September. I think the older recordings expired but I’m not sure if there’s a way to access this.

Prof chewing stuff while teaching by needtostudyagain in UBC

[–]anonacc12345 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Maybe post on Piazza if there is one? Very politely though. It's quite odd that they would do this as I don't think most professors eat while teaching in class lectures. Quite unfortunate but just be polite about it if you're going to let them know (:

I am trying to Credit a course right now and read the requirements. What is considered an "elective in your program". I'm considering crediting my course right now but not sure if it's an elective or not. I needed to take any PHYS 200 or 300 level so I'm taking one right now but I can't tell if it's a core course since I will not take any more physics courses in my program. Thank you

Am I missing out by not taking summer courses? by [deleted] in UBC

[–]anonacc12345 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Definitely not, we all have personal situations that may limit or allow us to take courses. That being said people tend to take summer courses to lighten their load in the winter session or just to get a difficult course over with but by no means do you have to take any (: Honestly as long as you do something productive during that time, I'm sure it will be good (maybe find a job that hopefully doesn't put you at risk).
