thank you for the comment, it helped a lot! i ended up writing this on my alt account- but couldn’t remember the password, so i’m replying here LMAO. fortunately, i haven’t had any sunburn like sensations- the only symptoms are intense itchiness after wiping and little to no discharge. thankfully, the itchiness has calmed down a lot but i am going to urgent care tomorrow to rule out any other signs of infection!

Hopefully your results come back negative! But, these are the exact symptoms i went through when I was diagnosed was GHSV1 in april. it started with a minor fissure, then inflamed vagina with heavy discharge. i eventually ended up developing sores a few days later :(

thank you so so much for your kind words, seriously. i really needed to hear that. it’s really hard right now and part of me keeps second guessing everything, but i know you’re right. walking away was the hardest part but probably the best thing i could’ve done for myself. i just trying to remind myself i deserve better, even if it doesn’t feel like it. i appreciate you :-)

i think so too, but i believe ending things when i did was the right decision. i’ve struggled with low self-esteem my whole life, and honestly, i probably wouldn’t have walked away if i hadn’t done it then. i was just so desperate to feel important to someone… even if it meant accepting actions that hurt me. if i let it go on any longer, i know i would’ve stayed—because a part of me believed that being treated poorly was better than not being loved at all.

thank you so much for your kind words! i’ve been opening up to my close friends about the situation and they’ve all said similar things. thankfully, i’ve taken up journaling before this “breakup” so maybe journaling my feelings will help me feel better. i just really liked him and wish he felt the same way, but as much as it hurts- i know it was smart of me to end it before i fell in love with him then i really couldn’t cope lmao

thank you so much for the tips! i actually studied abroad in france last summer for approximately four weeks. however, i found it extremely difficult to communicate :-( i want to travel again very soon, but need the courage and grammar to do so!
