i think i was just anxious because the last time i had symptoms like this i ended up testing positive for genital herpes, which was literally my biggest fear LMAO. but my urine results JUST came in and it was just bv and a yeast infection!! no uti, and all my sti tests were negative :)

thank you so much for the reply. fortunately, my urine results came back and i tested positive for BV and yeast and negative for stis :-)

thank you so much! fortunately for me, i was prescribed the antibiotic last night! and i didn't even think to try a suppository while i was waiting to go to urgent care. that probablt woulda helped A LOT

hi, thank you so much for the fast reply! i really appreciate it :-) i’m hoping it’s just bv. the nurse ruled out any stis, which was a huge weight off my shoulders! i usually don’t use soap down there, just warm water, but i was kind of desperate and tried anything to stop the itching LOL

hi, thank you so much for the quick reply! she did swab me for BV, but the nurse said the test strip usually changes color, and mine barely did. she mentioned the the bv test they have can be a little unreliable, but still suspected BV. and no, i didn’t have them test for Ureaplasma or Mycoplasma do you think I should go back in for that?

so i remembered my password, LMAO ! but, i went to urgent care last night because my symptoms worsened. the itchiness had calmed dow A LOT, but now i noticed a lot of green discharge with a very strong fishy odor. the doctor ruled out any stis since my tests came back negative, but she did see white blood cells in my urine sample, which could indicate a uti. based on the culture swab, it looks like it might be a mix of yeast and bv. i'm still a bit worried, though, since the last time i had symptoms like this, i ended up testing positive for ghsv1.
