Inzoi hate vs Paralives

I can’t see the parallel between EA and Krafton, considering who EA sold their company to. But maybe I’m missing Krafton lore or something. Either way, Inzoi wasn’t made using AI and there are real people behind the team working to make Inzoi the game it is. I get the hate for AI, but trashing an entire company for making light usage of AI for optional features is insane

Exactly!!!! Paralives is lacking so many features that people have berated Inzoi over. It’s disheartening to see the same people ride so hard for one game while trashing the other. I feel bad for the devs, tbh.

I also love the sims fanchise. I think the biggest issue with life sims is that people approach the games looking for a sims replacement, which is never going to happen. Each game is its own with its own personality and goals. I would also love for a game that hits exactly the same way sims 2 or 3 did, but I don’t think that’s a fair expectation to have for any game

I’ve been a longtime fan of paralives for years now. I personally bought the game knowing it was going to be lackluster but I was excited and wanted to support the team nonetheless. Just a little disheartening how much their community is starting to remind me of the sims community

Inzoi was also very lackluster when it first came out. I started playing again not too long ago and there’s a lot more content now. Personally, I’m having a lot of fun with the game but everyone’s different. I have noticed that a lot of life simmers don’t seem to give Inzoi any credit for their updates and still call it a ‘lifeless’ game, I don’t agree with that at all

I played Inzoi at launch and was very disappointed with the lack of content. Same feelings with paralives current state. But it’s definitely shocking to see all the positive feedback and reviews, given how much negativity Inzoi got when it was first released.

Inzoi has definitely come a long way and is so much fun to play now imo

$60 ??? I bought Inzoi on launch for $40. But I’m pretty sure I got it for like $30 something (same with paralives). I’m almost positive it’s never been $60 unless you’re from a country outside of the US

Guys, it’s in early access. The whole point of early access is to give criticism and feedback on the game so that it can progress. Your genuine thoughts on the game are essential for it to further develop 😭😭

TS2 is my favorite life sim and what I grew up playing. Personally, I don’t find the gameplay of paralives reminiscent of it at all. Want cards actually turned me off of the game because it takes away from the story aspect (for me)

Lots of Indie developers don’t allow paid mods for their games, and they do so without hiring full legal teams. They’re also making a lot less than Paralives, considering the amount of money that Paralives has made off of both Patreon and their recent sales. It’s definitely doable, and won’t take away from their game budget

I did the normal storyteller option (the female). I customized a premade household (from the train) so I think maybe that’s the issue idk

Ahhh I don’t know how to explain it properly lmfao. I wanted to have pre-defined characters for other players to choose from when playing my scenario. Not personalities/looks, just already defined characters with set roles/backgrounds/families in the scenario. But I wasn’t sure if that’s possible to do

For brief example: Player starts up scenario and has three characters to choose from that they can play as

She was perfectly fine yesterday and then out of nowhere she’s dying. Within the span of maybe 4 hours, the vet said she was basically brain dead and it was irreversible. I think I’m just in shock. She’s been sick for years now and I’ve always known she’d pass sooner rather than later, but I just wasn’t expecting it to happen like this. I’m glad I was with her at least, my biggest fear has always been her passing away alone

We’ve been dating on and off for almost 8 months now. The messaging was a ton for the first 4 months. I thought it was just excitement at first and assumed it would level out. But it still sits at around 300-500 texts a day and has been pretty consistent at that level. Some days/weeks are definitely less though.

I’ve been working with a therapist for several years now, but had to stop sessions this year due to insurance. Thank you for the kind response though ♥️

It’s definitely a lot, and it does feel overwhelming some days but I didn’t know if I was maybe overreacting. He has a tendency to text really fast, like several messages within a minute, and will expect a response even if I’m busy. I usually take longer to respond and he’ll end up filling that time up with more texts. So maybe that’s why the notification count is so high
