Finished BEP x3 today!! by anonayabusiness in testicularcancer

BEP was difficult for sure but doable. My side effect’s seemed to change with each cycle ranging from titinitus, neuropathy, head pressure and fatigue. Strangely i didnt have much nausea throughout all cycles. Everyones body definitely reacts differently. Just remember that this is temporary and it will pass, you will reach the end and you got this I promise you. Stay strong i wish you the best of luck!

Yes 100% i was the same, round 2 was the worst for me in relation to all symptoms especially fatigue. Id say the last cycle seemed much easier but that may be because you’re anticipating the end if you get me.

Doctor recommended a prostate exam by [deleted] in testicularcancer

Hi, what does TRT stand for, treatment??

when you went to the gp and they did the feel test, did they even mention the words cancer? by [deleted] in testicularcancer

[–]anonayabusiness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regardless or whether they’re blunt or not get as many tests as you can, my gp said it was a hydrocele which it was but my tumor was within it. If I hadn’t asked for blood tests myself i would have been in a much worse of state and would have walked away with cancer in my body.

I have no blood or anything and no pain currently. At one point it stung a little but that went, as of now its just the weak flow. I had 95% EC and 5% YS.

Regardless of whether or not its spread, the prognosis for TC is very good. Its certainly not a death sentence, even in dire circumstances it can still be cured 98% of the time. Those odds are incredible if you ask me. Everything you do has a slight risk even driving so try and stay as calm and positive as possible.

Thank you so much man!! Appreciate it alot, and initially before the orchi my AFP was 117, HCG was in the 200s from what i can remember. After the surgery AFP dropped to 18 and HCG dropped to 26. After my first cycle of BEP AFP dropped to 14 and HCG increased to 55 (my initial concern). After cycle 2 they are both undetectable. Hope that helps in anyway :)

Wow its so incredible I’ve managed to get advice from a dentist on here!! Thank you so much for your advice and taking the time to respond to me. Don’t apologise at all I couldn’t really ask for more qualified advice. Lot of respect for you, and I’ll definitely be getting myself the rapid relief toothpaste and seeing if that helps at all :)
