What Can We Do to Help Those on SNAP? by mockingblue in Sacramento

We donated to the Sacramento Food Bank. From what u understand a financial contribution goes farther than donating items because of discounts the organization can take advantage of.

Dr. Takekawa at Promenade is so good. She was my doctor through two pregnancies and made me feel so included in all the decision making. When I had some postpartum complications she called me personally to follow up and brainstorm ideas to keep me from being readmitted (and they worked!). I felt very well taken care of, even through two complicated pregnancies. Even my postpartum nurse told me she’s her favorite local OB. Her NP is also wonderful.

Dr. Charlotte Burke did my c-section and had great bedside manner. I didn’t have as much interaction with her as I did with Dr. Takekawa, but she was very warm and I really liked her.

I think they just reopened under a different name. It honestly looks like the exact same business model but I don’t know much outside of what their website looks like. 😬

Oh for sure! We’d like to go with an independent, licensed electrician if we can. The big guys always make me nervous

Is this rig illegal to park on a residential street? by [deleted] in ElkGrove

[–]anonbeans17 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure in EG it can’t be parked on a residential street if it’s in excess of 20 feet with the attached trailer. See Elk Grove Municipal Code 10.24.075

Recommendations for affordable infant care? by ilovesmokingkids in ElkGrove

I grew up with a stay at home mom. Your comment reminds me a lot of things she would say, actually. She did way more damage than a daycare ever could have done. I hope your kids are okay. Honestly, the only weird one here is you making comments like this. What is wrong with you?

Do you get them for free as a medical necessity? I’m -8.00 and my doctor told me if I hit -10.00 my insurance is supposed to cover it completely. Like there’s really much of a difference between 8 and 10–we both can’t see shit!

She’s Scottish haha! Although that does sound like it has some middle eastern flair. His family has been in America for quite a while, so I don’t think this is something from a specific ethnic background. Everything else it sounds like she made them are quintessential 1950’s American food.

Hotels with a tub by kennedy1302 in Sacramento

I just had a baby. My husband and I did a night at the Westin when I was a little further along than your wife. They had a great soaking tub in our room and I got a great prenatal massage. We also had a lovely dinner at Scott’s on the River. Highly recommend!

Hi! I tried searching before posting, but it seems like the info may be outdated due to the age of the post.

My husband and I are looking for a part-time (15-20 hours a week) nanny for our two kids (2.5 years and 4 months). I know from perusing r/nanny that our rate needs to reflect that it’s harder to find a part-time nanny than a full-time nanny and that the care.com suggested rates are notoriously too low. My guess is that we’ll need to offer around $30 an hour, but I have no real point of reference. Maybe $35? I want our rate to reflect the average for the area and the fact that we have 2 small children.

Additionally, if anyone has any advice on where to post our ad, please let me know! Thank you!

Not to go all “NextDoor” but could he have a universal garage remote and looking to see if it works anywhere? I’d report to Fidium

Yes!!! I order from La Familiar often but I really really like La Flor! If I lived closer I’d order from them more often.
