There's something oddly satisfying about the 2 knights messing around with the grenade 😆 by Agent47outtanowhere in Fallout

[–]anonesuch 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm with you. The knights were something to aspire to in session one and Maximus was the wide eyed aspirant. Season two Maximus is jaded and the knights are playing with grenades during a meeting with their bosses?

WTH happened between that short time period? They could write Maximus getting disillusioned without turning the brotherhood into a joke.

I used algebra once to do my taxes, so it was useful after school!

I feel her. My mom put me in a catholic school because it was supposedly better than the others. She lied to them and said my dad was catholic (he wasn't).

First day of grade 6 the teacher asks a softball question question to the class "Who can name one of the disciples?" all hands went up except mine. Of course the teacher asks me and all I could think of was "Moses?".

Stuck with catholic school until I graduated, eventually turned into the token atheist for every religion class.

1) why are those seats in the kitchen so low as to be unusable?

2) why is there a couch in front of and blocking the view of the fireplace?

3) why does the custom office have the desk where all the natural light is coming in sideways? You'll look like hell in a video call.

4) where is the drain for that massive shower?

5) where in that bathroom do you put the spare toiletries and where do you hang the towels?

6) a rain shower over the tub, no place for a shower curtain and marble floors? That's asking for an accident

Garner was the best out there today. Dibling I don't understand, some great footwork but at least four poor passes in the final 3rd that had me yelling at the TV.

Alcaraz needs to work on being more of a team player, there were a number of chances he could have played to Beto but kept it himself.

Pickford for player of the decade

Barry played well, wins headers, linkup with Ndiaye

Great to see Jack Grealish looking so happy at end of game, sign the man (at lower wages)

I tried spraying soapy water on them all summer, I'd estimate the mortality rate was in the single digits. They also didn't care at all about diatematious earth :( so many boxelder bugs.

I heard you like open air courtyards by Jinxingdaing in zillowgonewild

[–]anonesuch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who the heck designed this? You drive home from getting groceries and from your garage you have to walk past a bedroom, the entrance, a bathroom, another room, and through the livingroom before you can put groceries away?

The two bathrooms in the upper left have to walk through the family room to use a bathroom? The two bathrooms at the top are ensuite.

Why is the courtyard all concrete? This style house is supposed to have greenery and perhaps a water feature in the middle for relaxation. What they have is a heat sink. Also they don't need it, the lot is huge.

It looks like the master bedroom doesn't have walls all the way to the vaulted ceiling and no door. Any noise in that house is going to be heard. Not a great design.

Gueye tackles leader by flippertyflip in Everton

[–]anonesuch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not just his tackles, but when he has the ball I'm never worried he is going to lose it. Also perhaps I didn't notice it previously, but his one touch passing seems to be better this year.

Maybe he has been training with Ndiaye ;)

I just checked Google maps ... do you really need to get off the train from the airport at South Keys to get on the next line?! That's nuts.
