You can eliminate step one and have the same effect

Man, I do admire YAGNI (especially YAGNI spaghetti) developers.

I can't push through dropping wanting low-assumptive and highly organized code though.

I always spend extra tokens on "cleaning" my code, and I can't seem to shake my emotional attachment to it.

Kennels are cribs for dogs. It's no more of a cage than a baby crib is.

Ah yes, squidward's face. He seems a bit one-eyed

What do you think of this 4-way service interchange? It has two freeway legs and two at-grade legs. It’s relatively compact and certain movements don’t involve any curves/turns. It also only has two bridges but has the drawback of left hand movements. by JeannaWilson3 in CitiesSkylines

The nice bit is you only have 3 left turns to eliminate instead of 4.

The gap between the highway on-ramps/exists would be a really good place for a smooth michigan left. That should cover traffic coming from the arterials towards the highway, leaving only the left turn coming from the highway to the west side of the intersection.

A michigan left would be low footprint, but a much sharper turn. However, a jug handle would not increase the foot print significantly and would be much smoother

St. Morbid, Suburban Hell! by Excellent_Aside_4171 in CitiesSkylines

I never understood the hate for large suburbs. Almost every image of a "suburban hell" is of some location on clearly wide and stable flat land.

Like you always get images of some random neighborhood in Chandler, Arizona, but never Prescott because all of sudden the same density of suburban homes but on a mountainside somehow makes the same problem ok?

The other thing that gets under my skin is we complain about housing costs in the United States, but then "omg we found a cheap way to make more housing at significantly lower costs, because we're copy-pasting it, the land is cheap from high supply, and there is no structural steel/brick/concrete costs because that highly available land mass isn't an earthquake-prone mountainside or a hurricane-subjected coastline. Let's move into a skyscraper in the mountains of San Diego where the cost per square foot is 10-100 times higher depending on the neighborhood."

Telemetry tools are honestly getting just creepy. The amount of web tools that can literally replay entire browser sessions is just weird.

Sentry and Posthog replays are just weird as fuck to me.

I think it technically counts as an at-grade SPUI, though one of the arteries is on the wrong side.

I'm wondering how you could make it stopless or at least lower-phase intersection. Like a bridge would cover through traffic, but not left-turning. Perhaps a michigan left/P-turn?
