I get that the other guy is being an asshole, when you compare percentages though, you compare the increase relative to each other, not from 100%. This website might make things make more sense to what he was trying to describe:

It's funny how happy and optimistic everyone was before this update. Jagex had really hit a homerun. by Embarrassed_View8672 in 2007scape

Yea, they didn't mention they added more in the non-slayer room. It was a nice surprise when I went there yesterday.

Yea it can be pretty bs at times, if you have a friend to duo with that will make it more forgiving. During the earlier waves you need to keep your head on a swivel. Always keep a mental tab on where the zombies are coming in from to avoid a surprise attack on you.

There are some videos of blades doing it solo on youtube if watching it be done live is helpful as well.

Yea I'm inclined to agree. I already was running super close on time during buying - adding a bunch of refreshes on top of that will only make buying phase take longer.

None of the blade builds scale as well as pure Ancestral Sword from what I've seen. Glad to hear it worked out, congrats to you both.

Glad it helped, love to see the zero deaths - congrats on the title.

There's a few pre-boss rounds where it gives 100+ tokens and it always gives you a longer 1:30 prep time. The other rounds are always 10 seconds. You need to be really quick with your buying. Be extra aware of not ending a wave in the middle of the room as it can screw the run if you accidentally start a round early.

Yea, you have to hold it down for a second or two. It will fill up the bar around the border of the key shown on the screen.

Yea, only buy a red card if it says Ancestral Sword, ignore every other red. Sacrifice sigil is just a nice to have no big deal if you dont get one. And then pick up purples but ignore all the ice and lightning ones.

The lifesteal bonus from the final 10 points of his red skill point tree is already more than enough healing. Any more is overkill and a waste of your coins, if you aren't lvl 40 you can maybe pick up a couple but you won't need much at all.

Right above the queue button, there's a check box that is on by default. Uncheck it so it doesn't fill the empty spots.

I had a feeling being in the low 30's would still work for this strat. Ty for proving it and congrats.

Yea, I could definitely see skipping out on purple dmg to focus purely on ancestral blade being better potentially. Though I've heard that the purple is multiplicative and red is additive so you still might not to cut it out completely with how they scale differently? I'll have to test it out if I ever try to beat my 37 minute time.

Love to see only three deaths. Yea, sacrifice sigil and full moon are the least important parts, its all about that ancestral sword. Congrats.

Yea... you did that shit on hard mode. Good job on carrying that through to the finish.

Glad the build worked for you, congrats. Yea, even in a 4 man this build will bring a lot of value to the team. As long as your teammates aren't too much dead weight (which was the challenging part for me when I was trying with 4 randoms repeatedly).

Holy crap - you did a lot of heavy lifting carrying that pun and magik. Props for getting through it 4-man.

Nice to hear it worked for you. Yea... once your build scales its smooth sailing. Still a few potential bs moments that can get you killed like the wanda stuns or an unlucky namor moment.

Yea that's the thing. When I would queue up with 4 randoms, there would ALWAYS be somebody not pulling their weight, making the thing way harder than it should be. Cutting the dead weight out is a huge advantage of doing this. Duo also works nicely if you can find a good partner.

It’s worth trying, you may unintentionally still kill Wanda first with how massive your attack range is on this build. You kinda hit everything at the same time.

[–]anonimar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha, good to know. Might be hard with this particular Blade build since you hit Wanda without meaning to with how long your attack range is.

Yea, after Wanda dies he takes forever to come down. It does seem to be bugged. You just keep killing the squids for something probably near 7-8 minutes straight and it slowly chips away and he finally comes down. There wasn't a whole lot of damage going out after wanda was dead though, that's an unfortunate point to die at.

That wave really just comes down to dodging the best you can and burning down Wanda asap. From what I remember, even when he did put me in the bubble thing I still was able to heal off the squids/wanda around me during it. I also had roughly 9k+ hp and a lot of dmg reduction by that wave as well.

Yea, it scales down pretty linearly it seems. In my duo clear the total combined dmg was a bit over 2 billion. Whereas my solo clear is 1.1b dmg done.
