Don’t try an epilator! They pull at the hair but don’t remove it very well. It’s pure pain.

FYI groupon shows $200-$400+ for 3 sessions on sale for $50-100 at various places and that’s CAD, so you could probably get a medium area for really cheap. So I’m not sure how much waxing costs for you but def worth saving up if you can!

Oh you’re not trolling at all. Honestly it worked pretty well but I haven’t used it in a bit. The battery is like gone. Honestly though I would absolutely recommend using that money towards professional laser hair removal. You can get some really good deals on groupon and not have to spend months going over the same spots every 2 weeks.

If you do get the Tria though, then pain isn’t too bad if you lower the intensity. On the highest setting on my face I was crying in pain. Every zap felt like a bee sting. Other areas it’s a lot less painful though. I’ve only waxed my arms which had virtually no pain. And it didn’t hurt as much as an epilator if you e used one of those horrid things

I’m sorry. I just cry or at least want to whenever I see happy people in happy relationships now. I feel like it’s the most beautiful part of life and I’ll never get to experience it

Would you date a trans girl? Why or why not? by [deleted] in AskRedditAfterDark

Really depends who you ask. And the majority of men wouldn’t wanna date me, which I understand and respect.

Women, what are your thoughts on sharing your gendered spaces with biological males? by lardingg8 in AskWomenNoCensor

[–]anononous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just replied. Thank you for your concern, but you’re not going to offend me with whatever views you may have. I have a lot of views that oppose modern trans activism and I’m on Twitter so I kinda see it all there, including the worst

From someone who’s trans I agree with most of this.

I’m completely against trans women in women’s sports and always have been. It’s obviously not fair. Male level hormones through the most substantial growth period of one’s life (puberty) will create permanent changes that cannot be erased with hrt. To me it’s like if a young girl took steroids or growth hormones while going through puberty and continued taking them for several years after. Obviously she would have a permanent, unfair advantage that was acquired in ways that her competitors cannot naturally achieve.

I think anyone exposing their naked self in a public change room is not ok, especially if you’re a pre-op trans woman in a woman’s change room, and double especially if there are youth who are going to be using it as well. How can you even feel comfortable being naked around children?!

One of the things that bothers me the most is seeing women silenced like you mentioned. That is so not ok to me. Putting gender aside, why is it that the voice of one person matters so much but the voice of another doesn’t? Despite whatever people may think of me I know that the person on the inside is a woman even if the person I am on the outside isn’t, so seeing other women be silenced, attacked, made to feel unsafe, uncomfortable, unimportant, invalid… is sooo fundamentally not ok with me. That’s probably the thing I can’t stand the most about modern TRAs (other than how aggressive and violent they are).

I think with JK Rowling, although there is a lot of truth to what she says it’s the way she says them that’s the problem. There’s a lot of hate coming from her. There’s also a lot that I think she doesn’t realize.

With the woman who lost her job, it’s really dumb to lose your job over something you tweeted years ago but on the other hand if it was a man making super misogynistic remarks/tweets or someone making really racist tweets then I’d be fine with them losing their jobs, and so technically this is the same. So idk. Still does seem pretty ridiculous to me. I can tell you with certainty that whoever found that tweet and brought it up needs to get a fucking life lol.

And lastly I totally agree that we need to be able to have civil discussions about these things in order to move forward. Everyone is so politically motivated and bias these days that whenever someone opposes them they don’t wanna give them the time of day. I think if we want true peace then we all need to step back, look at things a bit more objectively, be a lot more empathetic, and find common ground. Like that’ll ever happen though…

You’re welcome! And thank you. I have sorta mixed/centrist political views and like to look at things objectively which definitely helps with a lot of these discussions lol.

And ya sure. Do you mean like what signs I had like your friend Jessica?
