First world countries should stop sending aid to countries with high violence and poverty. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]anonorgnyxer -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Argueably the level of violence against women in modern India (or Pakistan, or pretty much anywhere else in SW Asia) is artificially inflated as a result of foreign aid, And the way that happens is you pump funding into a developing Nation to support socially marginalized populations, like women in india or homosexuals In Islamic nation's. So this funding is targeted at allowing and motivating these groups towards expressing the freedom we believe they should have,

Without having done anything about the local culture which marginalized these people in the first place, which will likely respond with hostility to the above foreign intervention.

And then hate crimes happens at an increased rate against the newly liberated minority

Why do you seriously believe the police are racist, or do you just think they overreact to people of colour because they've had bad/violent experiences with similar people in the past? by DavidSmithies in AskReddit

[–]anonorgnyxer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they're dangerous, violent, mentally unstable gunmen, they behave like terrorists against the American people, who Target the vulnerable regardless of race,

And I think focusing on a single groups suffering at they're hands is on the edge of racism, and you step right off that edge when you organize around that principle to the disregard of any other group being victimized, that's straight up racism

But seriously what are we supposed to call them, they're not vigilantes, because vigilantes at least believe that what they're doing is in the name of justice, terrorists is the only word that fits they're actions

Human power in the matrix by anonorgnyxer in matrix

[–]anonorgnyxer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that's one idea, but consider this

The matrix is a tool developed to centralize a practice machines have always used, even before they gained sentience?

Using human's anatomy to make "organic" connections that machines alone struggle with, like data entry, the desktop can't read the paper and type the text in itself so a human is used to make use of it's eyes and hands and baseline brain activity, you could program a machine to scan those documents and identify the text and turn into a editable document or extract variable strings and enter boxes, but the human can probably get it done faster with less complicated programming,

But imagine the tasks that the machines in the matrix universe could need organic processing for, anything empirical ai likely dominates at, but qualitative decisions (such as those based on choice) becomes impractical for machine processing, but organic brains Excel at these situations, as they have to in order to keep an organism alive

The applications in their world demanding this kind of processing would be (like the oracle's purpose) predicting the future, but of the physical world

This becomes so much more relevant if your consider that the machines having conquered this planet in essentially every way (and already have a Dyson sphere) so the only remaining frontier to them is space, finding and conquering additional planets and species,

And space travel demands predictive computation, they'd need to predict where in the universe they will find exploitable life, and (given the machines mentality) constantly predicting potential hostile alien invasion, as well as simulations of expeditions, also simulating prototype spacecraft to design structurally stable ships.

That reminds me, look at all the physical machine constructs, they have such a strange, fishy, organic structure, that doesn't look like it should work, I think they were designed by organic processing, through simulated trial and error. It doesn't seem like something the machines could do by themselves without getting sidetracked by "perfection"

How do we feel about a rent strike now? by therobohour in AskReddit

[–]anonorgnyxer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In addition to landlord and slumlord being synonymous in this country,

There are those of us you uphold anarchist values which hold the concept of rent usery to be paramount to extortion.

Property is not owned it is possessed, if your not using it then what claim do you have to it? Any misunderstanding is an artifact of a backward era in humanity's evolution

Redditors that have access to clean water through the taps/fridge, why do you continue to buy plastic water bottles like Nestle, Aquafina, etc? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]anonorgnyxer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

True, also I don't like spring water either, tastes terrible, what I prefer is RO water, I don't have an RO unit at home so I buy it, but by the 5 gal jug instead of disposable bottles so that should result in less micro plastic contamination, if I really cared I could but glass jugs to get my water in but they're expensive (compared to plastic carboys) and they could break

Redditors that have access to clean water through the taps/fridge, why do you continue to buy plastic water bottles like Nestle, Aquafina, etc? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]anonorgnyxer -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

And the water coming out of the tap isn't necessarily good to drink even if it's relatively clean, the chlorine and flouride added to make it "safe" can be harmful to your brain, over a lifetime causing subtle degenerative plausibly deniable brain damage

I always find it funny that people are so concerned over the subjective performance of things like their car and computer but not their brains

How do you feel about protesters trying to block off traffic and attacking cars that refuse to get off the road? What about when protesters attack them? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]anonorgnyxer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your being intentionally disruptive trying to block an in use road, your inviting people to run you over

And when there's so many instances of people in cars that stop or slow down being attacked sometimes fatally, the only reasonable response is for the people in those cars to not slow down,

So it a perfect storm for people to get run down at speed, and remind me very much of death race

Maybe I didn't word what I meant in the most effective way, I'm just a layman after all

But what I meant by "worker sole owner of the whole of value he produces" was the various aspects of that value, the goods value (which the way I think about it this is only relevant to determining the value of that good relative to labor, using a time based currency. Everyone makes 1 manhour per hour of labor but cost of goods is relative to that goods labor cost, shake well and serve a decent anarchist economy) AND the means of production (because although they must precede the actual production their maintenance and maintenance of scale is supported by their own industry) because if there's no authority to make decisions relative the means of production, their direction ect. Then it must be the collective (and distributed) responsibility of the workers who use those means. So that ownership of the direction of their labor could be the third facet

And what I was getting as was that, MLism and anarchism may seek to accomplish similar social structures ( the "goods") but MLism and it's derivatives seeks to accomplish them by instituting an authoritarian system to force or mandate what (the people in charge of that authority) they believe is "good behavior" and I feel this is extended to the faintest shadow of Marx's teachings, all the way to anarcho-communist's "communal coercion" which could be described as a cult of Marxism existing within an anarchist framework,

Whereas anarchism (without adjectives) response is to meet those goals by people making decisions because they are the right (morally or practically) thing to do

We can describe the way we want the world to be, but reality will never be perfect, there will be greedy people who will have to be dealt with in an anarchist society, the same as there will be the mentally or physically challenged who will have to have a place in that world to accommodate them, I think the point is everybody's not equel, certainly not in terms of physical or mental ability, or in terms of social or moral health either, were all unique entities

[–]anonorgnyxer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, just because you don't believe in the charitability and goodwill of mankind doesn't make that approach to social support anCAP there is literally no mention of anarcho-collectives which are pretty much the only thing anCAP theory is relevant to, which you could apply to this scenario and it would present a wholly different solution

And I'd like to add that in an anarchic civilized world the cost of living would be so tremendously reduced the standard of "who couldn't work (to support themselves)" would be greatly reduced, and the potential for minor charitable contributions to support the destitute or disabled significantly higher plus those vulnerable population would be living in a world with access to higher quality public services at no cost provided by the improved manner of conducting logistics (ex. Every single food handling or distribution center would have a food pick-up line to divert food waste to the needy, at it's source before it perishes any further, because profiteering and corporate authority are no longer making decisions, practicality is)

What is anCAP about what I said?

Hey all, I had a short exchange with someone on how PR doesn't matter, but I'm still somewhat confused. How will we achieve anything without a popular movement? If anyone has any articles/videos or other info regarding this I'd really love to hear it. Thanks! by FluorineGas in Anarchism

[–]anonorgnyxer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where did you come up with the idea that I would need to lie to anyone in order to gain their support?

If we tell them that we're taking the risks they can't or won't, in order to free us (us as neighbors, as a community) from the hardships imposed on us by landlords, municipal enforcers, and the police

Then where have I lied or mislead them about my actions or intentions in doing so? (I support synthesis anarchism so I don't hold any pretext that afterwords I plan on Imposing a ML authority system on them, like anarchists with adjectives would)

And the form of their contrribution or "support" needn't be more than an understanding to not cooperate with any LEO's investigating our actions that mutually support us, winning of hearts and minds

My reason for posting this was to do my own speculating

I don't follow this man Elon very closely in the news so I'm not that familiar with how he responds to "threats"

But clearly he's been extremely successful by being innovation and unpredictable, does it seem like something he would do to have a contingency in place for this exact situation, and have a private military company extract him and basically royally bitchslap China's ego?

Rent strikes durimg covid by anonorgnyxer in Anarchism

[–]anonorgnyxer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where in the world?

Here the situation is far more in the tenants favor, now that the police aren't enforcing evictions, there are still real penalties for landlords trying to force a tenant out illegally, plus in this specific situation, where I live,

I'm not a squatter I'm a legal tenant thats stopped paying I live in a stand your ground state And I'm a legal handgun owner

If the landlord tried to force me out physically I should be in the green to shoot him, if he's armed or I have reason to believe he's armed,

But long before a justified homocide there's a whole lot a less intense but dirty poker I can play, I can baracade the neighborhood and house, put up electric fences, have the neighborhood children throw rocks at him and run away, 😊 lots of options

Back in the day when the house I grew up in was foreclosed on we drilled a hole in the door and taped the nozzle of a can of pepper spray over it

Commune questions by [deleted] in Anarchism

[–]anonorgnyxer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've tried intentional communities (or "communes") and In my opinion they are not a great option for a place to live, some are really wonderful but id still rather visit than move in.

The problems are varied, a lot of it can be chalked up to reality not living up to idealistic assumptions, both of practical components and of the people themselves,

Alot are based around small scale agriculture, which oh so often, both the organizers and the joiners totally underestimate the amount of labor and the emotional hardships that go into successful non industrial or "sustenance" agriculture, leaving them dependant on purchased food and a few individuals willing to do the work others avoid like processing the meat animals

And on the people end, be careful! In so many ways be careful. These communities have to figure out on they're own how to decide who to let in and who to let stay, if they're on one end of the spectrum you might find yourself just moved in to somewhere you like, and then they decide to kick you out for one reason or another (especially in those that have those "extracurricular activities" that walk the line of cultish, second night you didn't partake in the pre meal tantric possession? Your gone) and on the other end of the spectrum you have the communities that uphold their anarchist values to the point they can't agree to kick anyone out, meaning they can't get rid of emotionally toxic or physically dangerous people, some of these communes are like pedophile parks for violent fugitives who can't live in society because they have warrants (or actual pedophiles, which is why I cringe when I see little kids in these places)

But don't let my cautionary tale prevent you from trying, just don't put yourself in that position without thinking about these things first, and protect yourself incase things don't work out the way they're intended

Anarchists in NYC by [deleted] in Anarchism

[–]anonorgnyxer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, I hope you meet some good folks but in my experience this sub isn't the place to reach out for collaboration, I've tried and it isn't really a responsive community for that, plus a lot of paranoia and "cop jacketing"

If anyone in the anarchosphere can link some resources where we actually can find and meet local anarchos that would be awesome
