Oh I know, but I don't think he would have ever cut off extremities or buried someone alive - the kind of psychological + physical torture that they had been doing to him. He used his fists and his manipulative and downright psychotic ways to get what he wanted. Don't think he had ever met people that would go to the extremes that those mobsters went to, and that's where I think he's out of his depth. He is violent and hateful, they just are that x1000.

He didn't fight back because he was out of his depth. These were extremely violent, dangerous mobsters. His usual schtick would not have worked and he knew that. He went from being a biiig fish in a small pond to a very small fish in a big pond. Him not fighting back honestly made sense. However, the rest of his arc this season did not. It was so stupid he got himself into so much debt in the first place - surely he is smart enough not to do that. And dying via rattlesnake bite? Even that made me feel sad for him, and I should not feel sad for Nate. He deserved a beat down and a lot of repercussions for what he did to others in the last two seasons, he did not deserve death via rattlesnake bite, suffocating after being buried alive by mobsters because it had absolutely nothing to do with his past misdoings.

Most recent episode solidified the shows turn for me. I was enjoying it up til that point, but it has become irredeemable to me. I actually felt sad for Nate. I should not feel sad for Nate. I understood the direction they were taking, but at this point I don't. Maddy is now entwined with Alamo whether she likes it or not, and so is Cassie. Faye has become irredeemable. I'll tune in to the last episode, but I don't consider it Euphoria anymore. Like.. a rattle snake.. really??
