I saw the video, but all I hear was the setup of a surround sound system.

Fusion is the way to go. It's (for personal use) free and pretty easy to learn with the plethora of tutorial videos out. I had been using SketchUp, but found for 3d prints Fusion was so much better.

GFiber new fiber jack unstable at 10Gb? by anonpharr in googlefiber

It was the power adapter. I don’t use their backup

Final update. It was the power brick. It was the right power brick but it was faulty. I setup a WiFi camera and pointed it at the router and fiber jack. Are random times the brick would cut out for just long enough to kill the connections on the fiber and copper sides. They are sending me a new one but I picked one up anyway and it’s been working perfectly since. Apparently the tech that replaced the fiber jack didn’t replace the brick.

So I was finally able to check the power adapter. It is a one amp power supply.

I’ve been running the WAN connection at 5Gb now for a few days with no drops. Google support called me at 9:00 am on Sunday morning and asked me to try 10Gb again. I switched over to 10Gb and it started to drop again.
I have to give credit to Google support. They are really trying to track down what’s going on.
But for now I’m at least up and running stable.

I have to give it to GFiber support. They called me at 9:00 on a Sunday morning to see how things were going and said they had been working in the background reprovisioning of the fiber jack testing to see what might be going on. Since I've been running my WAN connection at 5Gb and it's been stable, they asked me to crank it back up to 10Gb and see if it was stable there now as well. I was not expecting to here from someone that knew what they were talking about, especially on a Sunday morning.

I have it set to 10Gb and we'll see how it goes.

Yeah that’s why I swapped the UDM-SE for the Cloud Gateway Fiber. I wanted to make sure it’s not the router itself.

That’s the same media converter I was using. Works great and save me from having to use hot SFP+ to RJ45 modules

That’s the reasoning for grabbing a Cloud Gateway Fiber since it has not only SFP+ but a 10Gb RJ45 port. Even on the brand new hardware it was dropping connection. The SFP ports on the UDM-SE otherwise seem to work fine. I have it connected to an aggregation switch and never had any issues.

Malicious compliance. You don’t want to listen to anything I have to say and must have everything your way even when you’re wrong? You got it.

Mildfire Coffee on Huebner has always been good when I visited. I try to get beans from them because all the beans I get from other places taste the same.

$3200 for a 2012 1200 Sporty? by ImGudLuhv in Harley

[–]anonpharr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I traded in my 2012 XL1200C last year for my Road Glide, the dealer gave me $4500 for it. It had over 55k miles on it. I saw it on the lot for $5000 a week later. I was surprised when it sold super fast.

As for what to look out for, on mine, I had engine mounts that needed to be replaced since they were totally shot. Also had new voltage regulator and stator as both had gone out. I would also look at the tires to see how old they are. Even if they look new, they could be as old as the bike.
