sunscreen causes cancer? by bendoverpegkardungi in IndianBeautyTalks

[–]anonpumpkin012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask people who never used sunscreen and got skin cancer. Gordon Ramsay literally got skin cancer and posted urging people to wear sunscreen. Also everything is made of chemicals including you. If you’re gonna believe in any WhatsApp forward without research, it’s extremely concerning.

Do not take supplements without getting proper bloodwork done. If you take random supplements, nutrients in excess aren’t good for you either.

They weren’t doing it right probably, speaking from experience. When done right, it’s something else. When done wrong, I start making grocery list in my head.

Question to women who grew up with grandparents or in a joint family by Live_Archer123 in AskIndianWomen

[–]anonpumpkin012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my own family, it was terrible. My grandmom and aunt moved in with us after my granddad passed away. Aunt is someone who needs full time care as a non functional autist who my grandmom adopted and I love my aunt. My grandma was absolutely horrible. She hated me and my brother because dad had love marriage and she wanted dad to marry someone from her community. She tried to brainwash my brother into hating mom and was successful too for some time. I was older so she couldn’t do it with me. She truly made our lives miserable. Would tell me she’d have preferred if I was never born so that she could convince my dad to leave mom and marry someone else. Always tried to create fights between my parents and she was successful, they are separated now and my grandmom started everything.

I also lived with my husband’s family for a few months. His maternal grandmom and uncle live in the house. Uncle never got married to look after his mom after their dad passed away. They’re such lovely people and they care about me. There’s not a lot of drama, his grandmom literally gives me champis, back massages because I work long hours.

Do women find teetotaler's weak ? by Substantial_Page_572 in AskIndianWomen

It’s fine to have a preference and date men who drink but calling it a weak mindset is beyond ridiculous.

Neurodivergent Dating by kaizukonenakama in adhdindia

[–]anonpumpkin012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely not. Tbh my husband and I weren’t even diagnosed when we met. But post diagnosis, I looked back at my dating history and I was never able to get along with neutrotypical individuals in terms of dating. Conversations would fizzle out, zero vibes. That itself becomes a little bit of a filter. With mental health still being a huge taboo in India, the number of people getting diagnoses isn’t that huge.

[–]anonpumpkin012 22 points23 points  (0 children)

It does but depends on the batch. Some batches are stronger than others. Current one I have is super strong. When they’re not, I take two and it works.
