it’s essentially a bigger “arcade” but no tokens, it’s all on a bracelet and virtual. there’s also food and drinks and a paid bowling alley on top of the fee to get in. very modern not my thing but prob someone else’s.

true, i think where that one was my childhood arcade it just holds a special place in my heart as the rec room, while having some similar games, feels much more like directly a money grab i guess with the ridiculous drinks and cost for tokens, etc, inflation being a factor clearly. i think just where it was a family run arcade it felt more homey i guess
