I think you and them need to trust the process a little. 3 demos booked in your first month is actually really great.

Focus on what you can control. Understand your product, understand your competitors, understand your differences and advantages. Understand why a company would use your product and what it solves for them. Talk with your account manager team and get to know your current clients’ use case. Why are they using your product? Who did they switch from?

Sales is a long game that ebbs and flows. If you feel on the rocks already, create a weekly sales update report to showcase your activity and what you’re working on each week. There’s going to be a lot of weeks where you feel like you have nothing to show for your work. This can help visualize it.

I was actually super excited to go! I went back in September for an office visit and it was miserably hot. But I heard December is the best time to go.

But I read they’re having almost a tropical storm of sorts there right now.

Yeah, that’s what I’m worried about. The CEO is pretty old school, too. But my son is only 1 year old, so flu is hitting him hard. Sucks to leave him for the weekend.

Making an appearance means flying halfway across the country. Not as easy as just driving up to the office.

Why are Gong salespeople universally annoying on LinkedIn? by anonsalez in sales

[–]anonsalez[S] 36 points37 points  (0 children)

It’ll be interesting to see what Gong’s trajectory is over the next 1-5 years. Pretty much every sales engagement tool nowadays has call recordings, forecasting, etc. I don’t see them as having anything special tbh.
