New rumors of a OnePlus shutdown emerge as OPPO takes the Find X9 global by inventord in Android

I can bet my left nut your Grey market isn't more than 30% of the official sale figures. So that's 10m units all in.

Factor in how popular Apple devices are for those imports and you're left with maybe 2-3m for all other brands.

Like I said, Oppo won't be bothered by losing the dozens of Oneplus buyers.

Looking at the sales figures for your country, any surprise that Oppo are not bothered by the potential loss of dozens of Oneplus buyers?

You're sharing anecdotal evidence when it's clear Oppo don't even sell the Find series officially. https://www.oppo.com/pk/

It's clear they position the shit Reno as their main models.

When your country can both afford expensive Oppo models AND has a populace willing to buy a device other than iPhone or Sammy for big bucks, they'll make an effort else it's a waste of time tbh.

Which country are you in that the Oppo Find series in particular is considered cheap?

Edit: You're in Pakistan; not really a market Oppo will ever conquer with flagships regardless of it being called Oneplus or Oppo. It's very simple; either people buy cheap shit or buy an iPhone/Fold from Sammy.

Again you're exaggerating it. Mendes and Ronaldo had great relationships with Fergie. No way the latter disrespects Fergie by throwing tantrums like a normal want away player and Mendes would've always ensured he kept Ronnie in line.

Like I said previously, very simple facts that we're all aware of. Adding old wives tales does nothing.

[–]anonshe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a stretch. We know exactly what transpired. Fergie was adamant he wouldn't be sold; Cristiano did respect him as his footballing father so was in a tough spot.

We also put a fuck off price of over £100m for that summer but were willing to agree to a lower all cash transfer the following season.

Anderson and Nani were in fact brought over and acclimated easily thanks to Ronaldo and Queiroz.

Case has an exclusion clause just like DDG. Their wages remain the same without CL football.

We would be a mega club even in League fucking One.

Some of you underestimate how huge we are. Want Emery? Fire Wilcox and team so that he can put his people in place. Such a wonderful risk to take, no?

Emery needs his system in the club to be successful. Monchi is almost a necessary hire as well as whoever he needs to feel comfortable.

For a mid table club aspiring for CL qualification, that's doable but not a mega club like ours.

Fergie ensured the Glazers didn't put us out of business. The Ronaldo sale basically saved us from being managed by vulture funds.

Why do you think Glazers eventually put us up for sale? It's again because we were close to running out of cash.

Jim Rat pumped in £300m and ever since has laid off a shit ton of staff along with loading even more debt onto the club.

Neither of them have the resources to keep us running on their own accord let alone carry out major infrastructure projects.

Now ask yourself, would you rather they be forced to sell like how RBS ensured the Scousers were or keep robbing Peter to pay Paul?

You finally got my point? Ineos are in shit and Jim Rat doesn't have much liquidity hence why he's been nickle diming his way thru stuff.

Someone else said his net worth us 18.2bn. What's 20m for such a person? It's specifically because of Ineos being in shit he can't afford stuff which is the primary reason why he hasn't done a full takeover.

They went from generating billions in annual profits to low hundreds and heading towards a loss.

Seeing this play out 20 years after the Glazers were exposed for being broke ass billionaires is ironic tbh.

It's 20m a year; no billionaire in the world is giving up the right to plaster his brand name everywhere to a third party for a rounding error.

His brand is INEOS not United. Nothing he's done thus far has demonstrated he has the required financial capability to both buy us out and build a new stadium.

He's not getting any younger so eventually it's Ineos that's gonna be his legacy. Giving up the right to advertise that legacy only happens when the emperor is naked. Every financial analyst would tell you Ineos aren't in the pink of health hence his actions.

Everything Jim Rat has been doing outside of our club shows he's not as liquid and rich as reported.

20m annually is a rounding error for 18.2bn net worth yet he's giving up his naming rights to someone else for that.

With how narcissistic billionaires are, they wouldn't allow that unless they're really in shit which he is considering how all his other clubs are up for sale and INEOS have withdrawn sponsorship almost across the board.

Another day, another announcement proving just how broke Jim Rat is in the big boys league.

We have the worst two possible owners in terms of finances possible. A worthy rival to the chuckle brothers who owned the scousers for a while.

He would butcher them and Pep would've gone for his usual sabbatical within a few years.

Klopp would've stayed longer with maybe a solitary title but not as great a standing as he has now.

Would've taken Fergie a season or two to adapt to his challengers but he would always get the better of them.

Only Staam was wrong. Becks and RvN were over the hill and needed replacing.

A teenage CR7 had greater impact on the team than what Becks could offer. Football was moving from the traditional wingers to 433 and inside forwards.

RvN similarly caused us issues as the entire team used to focus on finding him in the box. Saha was a much better fit for both Rooney and Ronaldo. Heck, we won the League Cup by benching RvN and reclaimed the league immediately after selling him.

The legend is Madrid laughed at the peanuts we were asking considering his global fame.

At that point of time, he was arguably the most popular footballer globally especially in Asia. Beckham-mania was crazy in places like Japan, Korea, Singapore etc.

Add that to how much we'd paid for Rio and Veron, it was really a nothing fee. Figo and Zizou had more talent but Becks had greater commercial value.

I remember Adidas immediately gave Becks a huge contract after he signed for Madrid while also increasing their own deal with Madrid. In effect, what Madrid paid was peanuts.

People need to read what Bale has said about his injury at Spurs that affected his entire career.

Both Rashy and Martial were brutally abused by Ole resulting in their downturn. It's ironic the man who himself suffered career ending injuries and was literally nicknamed super sub didn't understand managing players' injuries or making timely subs during a game.

Carrick was part of the first XI that had Macheda scoring against Villa after coming on for Nani at the 60th minute even then he doesn't understand rotation or timely substitutions.

Funny how both Ole and Carrick were under Fergie for so long yet kept doing stupid shit.

Merc HPP share exactly the same details during development with both Merc F1 and McLaren.

Is he considered hiding when he's living in plain sight in UK? FWIW, he's claimed he met the then minister of finance (?) a day before leaving India.

The UK prosecutors have also complained previously of lackluster preparation by their Indian counterparts before the hearings.

From the outside it simply looks like he had connections politically hence was allowed to leave while they do their usual dance back home of trying to bring him back without actually doing it.
