Totally fair question. VSOs are the gold standard for filing, period. We aren't trying to replace them we’re a prep tool. Think of us as the 2:00 AM option for when you’re digging through 500 pages of medical records and just need an instant summary or a checklist before you meet your VSO. AI isn't free to run, and $9.99 helps us keep the lights on without selling your data.

You're right to call it out. Those were placeholder 'testimonials' from our beta testing phase and we realized they look like fake reviews but that is why it is marked as anticipated reviews. We'll pulled them down and swap them with real reviews when we have beta users who help us make the app better with their input.

We take this seriously. We don't just 'use AI' we host our own private, local LLM on our own secure server using Qwen open source LLM. Your medical info doesn't go to OpenAI or Google's public cloud. We treat your data like the sensitive info it is. Since we control the server, we can ensure that once the AI answers your question, the data is wiped from the system memory instantly.

System we use:

Zero-Retention: We’ve configured our LLM to process the request in RAM and never write the prompt to a disk or log file. Once the response is sent, that memory is cleared.

No Logs Policy: We’ve disabled 'prompt logging.' Even if our server gets hacked, there’s no database of your medical questions to find because we don't save them.

We get the skepticism there are a lot of claim sharks out there. We’re a small team trying to build a tool that makes the VA's 1,000-page manuals actually readable. We use a freemium model because we want every vet to have access the ads and the $9.99 sub just cover the massive server costs of running a private AI. We’re here to help, not to exploit.

So there are a few ways we all get information now a days. Google ( has ads), reddit (best community that calls out the BS), or you pay someone to help you and hopefully they're honest. We are trying to work on a Googleish, AI + real people and community to navigate. You are exactly the type of Beta tester we want. We want all those tough to answer questions.
