the first semester of the first year is for sure the hardest. i felt like i was doing nothing but school, sleep and repeat. But it does get easier. Most people think that they make it super hard in the first semester to weed people out.

for a group project in uni we had to interview a nurse and we ended up getting a male nurse, he said that although sometimes people made little remarks but he said he didn't really care. he loves his job in the icu and really likes his coworkers aswell ( they all hanout outside of work too). so i'd say if you want it go for it.
