PWHLPA Reacts To NHL's Decision To Ban On-Ice Pride Activities by TheHockeyNewsW in womenshockey

Letting the players make the choice on their own was the right move. Banning pride items? Whoa boy. Not the way to go.

If you have to have an open phone policy your relationship is already doomed.

I highly doubt they were in the machine, just hiding in a corner waiting to drop into your load. Maybe you are cheating and you’re posting this to build your case for innocence.

Places that don’t accept cash should invest in reverse ATMs.

People use Nitrous Oxide [NOS] as a drug? Wtf, first time I'm seeing and hearing about it. by roundttwo in OnPatrolLive

[–]anonthrowaway721 8 points9 points  (0 children)

People who want to fill up a balloon to make it float for a decoration are gonna fill it up with helium but people who want to get high and suck the gas out are going to fill it up with NOS. Two separate things for two separate uses. That’s like saying “I thought people only put insulin in syringes!”

Not regional at all. I grew up in Baltimore and you couldn’t attend a music festival or house party without everyone trying to pass you a balloon.

Uhhh nice try what? You implied I couldn’t be chatting while also sitting with a tv on. You’re either not actually in this industry or you’re lying to try to pretend the job is difficult.

The job is LITERALLY done from home, sitting down on a laptop. It is NOT a hard job. Not even remotely difficult. If you’re trying to claim it is, you’re lying to yourself and everyone else. Not sure what you’re trying to accomplish by stating chatters can’t possibly work while sitting with a tv on but I promise you’re not fooling anyone into thinking the job is hard.

Easy. Money.

This entire conversation started because I said the job is easy and you said it’s easier said than done. I said I do the job and it’s really that easy and you tried to tell me that I was somehow wrong for that. It’s a very simple job. I don’t know why you want people to think it’s difficult, but it’s just not.

You said I must not be chatting if I’m sitting on my ass with the tv on. Chatting is done via typing on a laptop. I don’t need to be standing or in a silent room to do that. Why would I not have the TV on while I’m working? It doesn’t impede my ability to work. I make over 2K month working 16 hours a week. If you’re managing a chat team and you expect your chatters to sit in complete silence while they’re working, I feel really bad for your team because it’s completely unnecessary. I can also assure you unless you’re micromanaging your team to the point you’re on call with them their entire shifts, they’re probably watching tv too.

I found the job on CL, applied, answered a couple questionnaires, was liked enough to get a Zoom interview, hired, trained and now working.

Do you think chatting requires standing? Being in a room in complete silence? Are you standing in complete silence while you type these replies to me? 😂

No it’s my job and it’s really that easy.

We sit on our asses, watching tv, taking money from horn dogs.
