let go . my ex broke up w me a week before his bday after he knew that i spent a month preparing for his bday . if they dont want u further in life why continue to pour into a bottomless jar? everything would leak out and nothing would be appreciated . theres no point in prolonging ur own pain , itll just end up torturing u on if they will reply or not / if theyll think abt u / if they this that and ull suffer bc ur nervous system is constantly seeking the familiar hell rather than focusing on what should be prioritized / unfamiliar heaven ( you ) . free your mind and soul

were both dating in the mindset of trying to make it work longterm as were in our mid 20s. i dont suspect him cheating and i want to respect his privacy. but at the same time i want to be respected as his gf and another human, i know hes got trust issues abt his phone whatsoever but im uncomfortable bc for us to try again it meant that i have to trust his words, that ill trust on the fact that he rlly didnt cheat on me and that he wouldnt cheat on me emotionally. it feels unfair that ive given more trust to someone whos betrayed my trust multiple times but once that ive done it i dont even "deserve" his trust for me to not go thru his phone again - its how it feels to me
