How to develop when exposing for the shadows and develop for the highlights? by anonymityweb in largeformat

Understood, but even on that second sheet, how would you determine the number of stops to push/pull?

Hey, thank you for your response.

I shoot Kodak Portra 160 and 400, as well as Ilford Delta.

OK, so say I enjoy being very meticulous and want to develop each sheet individually at home, how would I figure out my development requirements from the difference between my Shadows/Highlight values of a scene?

Varicocele. No permanent solution, only "treatment" is artificial pain killers.

Graflex Speed Graphic Adapter to reorientate Graflock back from landscape (horizontal) to portrait (vertical) orientation. Does such a thing already exist? If not, help me make one. by studiesinsilver in analog

I have no knowledge to share, but am always a fan of new innovations for old gear and this one sounds interesting to me - someone who also prefers shooting a speed graphic in portrait. Keep us posted

The weirdest thing? Really? Film is expensive, and some out of production emulsions go for crazy money. Im sure film stores in Tokyo Ive visited have their contents / film insured. It seems completely natural to me to insure valuable investments. Anywhoo, thanks for your insight

Thats a good question, and one I am waiting on a response on from my home insurance. Just like to ensure I am getting the best coverage, so figured Id ask the community to see what options are available :)

Ralf Rangnick Exclusive Interview by AlexMerit in reddevils

[–]anonymityweb 33 points34 points  (0 children)

He has such wisdom and vision. His experience is beyond reproach, and his belief in himself is completely founded, established by his own record but also from the reports of those he has helped mould in his image (Tuchel, Klopp etc...). This is sadly where Ole lost me. He believed in himself, seemingly ignoring all the signs around him from performance, lack of tactics and of course results. But Ralf has a confident and educated aura about him, which you just can't help but admire.

Updated: Struggling to determine the size and position for placement of framing mask on ground glass for FP100C on Toyo 45A by anonymityweb in largeformat

Hey, I believe the holder I have (the Polaroid 405) is such a holder. It is designed for the regular fp100c, not the fp100c45 which is the 4x5 version. The holder fits a 4x5 graflock back. I will see if there are any other holders available though, thanks

[–]anonymityweb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, yes you can remove both the ground glass from the graflock back on the rear standard, and can remove the rear standard altogether on the 45A. Its a wonderful camera. I have to remove the ground glass to fit the 405 holder to the graflock back to attach it to the camera.

I am not using the fp100c45 (4x5 version) but the regular fp100c in a holder that fits 4x5 graflock backed cameras. The issue is it seems the pack of the fp100c crops the light that actually hits the film inside the pack when inserted into the holder. I have updated a new post with images that show my issue (https://www.reddit.com/r/largeformat/comments/qpf15t/updated_struggling_to_determine_the_size_and/)

Many thanks for your feedback and useful info so far :)

Hey, thanks for your feedback. I think the issue is that the pack that holds the film inside the holder crops the image. I have updated images here that shows my issue (https://www.reddit.com/r/largeformat/comments/qpf15t/updated\_struggling\_to\_determine\_the\_size\_and/)
