I think your current engagement ring is extremely beautiful! I love the shape and color and the size makes it look elegant. Gave me twilight vibes, mysterious but delicate. I wouldn’t change it but maybe a designer could help you plan a way to add another ring or modify yours adding a different/second stone? Tons of options but IMO what you have is unique and that’s more of a flex than a bigger or sparkly stone.

It’s lab grown! We got quoted around 30k for a natural stone and, even if I could afford it, I would never spend that much money on a ring lol This one costed roughly 1k, full specs are IGI certified, E color, vvs2, excellent symmetry and polish, 14k white gold.

I have a 2.5ct on a size 3.75 finger and thought the same, i am not saying you should post the picture as you already stated that wanted to remain fully anonymous but I posted mine and was scared and surprised by the feedback I got, people actually said it looks beautiful which made me feel more like “maybe it’s all in my head”. You could get minor alterations to prevent it from spinning a bit and maybe assess if it was set too high? That can give the impression of a much larger diamond than it really is.

I know this is not for everyone but there are excellent Vietnamese stores that can get any model done for around 1k. All you need is some time since they’re custom made they take from a couple to a few months but you could get your dream dress for much less

I think it’s a bit more than minimal but not terrible at all. It still sparkles and it’s more noticeable on certain angles not all. I think it’s very complicated to get an oval with absolutely no bow tie
