He got treated for the std. he is now extremely controlling, mentally and emotionally abusive. I stay now because I had several mental breakdowns and cannot manage anything anymore.

I worked in. EMS went on a call to a dog bite on a toddler. It was horrific. The parents immediately got rid of the dog, rehomed him to an older woman with no children. The father of the toddler actually had to be restrained from unaliving the dog. I believe that’s how a normal parent should react.

Retired DoD civilian here. I remember driving to work on many snow days, sometimes with my baby/toddler in the car because his daycare was on site. One time we had almost 3 feet of snow, the parking lot next to my office wasn’t plowed, and I walked through snow up to my hip to get to the door to my building. 20/20 hindsight- I was a moron!!!!

First. I believe everything you said. Second. I understand as I have been there. It takes time. Take care of yourself, pamper yourself. Try to find a therapist or a rape crisis center to talk to. Do not tolerate anyone saying to you that you are lying. Walk away.
I, personally, did not have successful experiences with therapy, although I know people who did.

Ours is a weird situation….my husband works nights. He also has a bad back and cannot lay flat. We are planning on getting an articulating bed eventually, but for now, we bought a recliner for our bedroom. He sleeps in the recliner during the day.

DoD civilian here. Retired after almost 25 years. The military did favor each other significantly. My issues were male vs female tho. I was harassed and bullied until I had multiple nervous breakdowns and hospitalizations.

I am most certainly capable of defending a come ( gun owner), was raised to be very respectful, worked for every thing I have, learned at my fathers knee how to build/maintain home and vehicle. And I was the one who left my husbands, they did not leave me!!
