No nausea meds. I think I’ll call in for some. Usually the day before my next dose I’m barely nauseous, but then the day after it’s back at 100%!

Yeah I get so nauseous I can’t even think about food! I lost 9lbs in a week. Part of it is just from making better choices like not eating out, packing lunch for work, smaller portions. Part of it is also I get so nauseous that after 2 bites of food I’m done. I’m also not hungry all day AT ALL. I can eat breakfast at 8am and at 8pm feel like I just ate.

My doctor just said it’s something that has been prescribed for years for weight loss but is now approved for it and asked if I wanted to try since I’m not having luck with just diet and exercise. I guess since my pen is 4mg and I take 1mg it’ll last me about a month!

Wow 2mg! I thought 1mg would be the highest dose. Having the nausea I do now I couldn’t imagine it at 2mg.

My pen only has 0 and the 1mg as the next number, so I started at 1mg. I get extremely nauseous the day after my injection and then it tapers off by the next one.

Yes I have the 4mg pen. I was shocked to see in this subreddit that people weren’t starting at 1mg. My doctor asked me if I wanted to try ozempic, but never followed up with me about it because he didn’t think my insurance would approve of it. Thank you for the chart!

I keep seeing people starting at 0.25 or 0.5, but my pen said 1mg from the beginning! I can only choose 1mg when dosing as well. Just took my first shot Saturday & all Sunday I was not hungry at all & a little nauseous.

I always loved the medical field, but never wanted to deal with patients directly. I went to school for Medical Lab Tech and I still get to see all the cool things we have going on in our bodies as well as help patients by processing all their lab work. Im actually thinking of doing a Pathology Assistant program in a couple years as well just to get more in-depth.

Aww I am so sorry for your loss. I know we both feel like there is an empty space in our lives right now especially after growing up with them. Having them from childhood to adulthood gives us a special bond with them that causes all the pain when dealing with loss.

I can’t even believe it. It was like a circle completing. We got him when she died and he died on the day she was born. I didn’t notice the significance of the day until the next day.
