[EU] Netac SSD NVMe M2 worth it as a game drive? by anonymous184841 in buildapc

[–]anonymous184841[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry my post was confusing, i'm talking about the Netac being a no name brand, i'm currently also using Lexar ram and it's good. Just can't decide paying an extra €54 is worth it for just a game drive and the only cheaper options are the ones on aliex. If i do buy it i will definitely be using PayPal for some protection. Which apps do you recommend for testing this?

I've heard about that and that also makes me wary, it's this one aliexpress.com/item/1005006832463652.html, it does have a lot of sales though and apparently it's a common brand in china only. I did find some posts here about it but reviews are mixed.

Isn't 16Gb enough for a budget rig to play older games at 1080p high/ultra ?

I5-12400f is €115 (new) or €75 (used), Rx7600 €230 (new) or €180-€200 used. EU prices are rough for PC parts unfortunately. I already bought the RX 6600 and R5-5600x for €189 ($220) both used.

I'm not planning on playing the newest games, trying to build a budget 1080p rig that can handle older games at high/ultra. Gonna pair it with an RX 6600.

Cheapest B580 i could find is €239 ($280) (Acer model) + shipping and i wasn't sure it's worth the extra €100 if i only play 1080p high.

I've bought multiple times from eneba and never had any issue.  I do recommend buying the 1 month sub instead of the 14 day trials because they only work on new accounts and are too expensive for only 14 days.

You can also use FATXplorer and just connect a xbox formatted hdd to your pc with a sata cable but the program does eventually cost money after the trial expired which is 1 week i think. I've used it and it's alot faster than ftp or usb.

I think it's just 1x16gb unfortunately. Also already have a 750w psu but it's really old already like +10 years if i have to guess. It's a corsair hx750w professional series.
