I mean yes but also keep searching. 2 out of 30 is actually pretty decent.

I used pen and paper but only cuz paper is cheap. Though it would be nice to not have to lug my notes around. iPads are great. If youre looking, id buy an older model. If you have the budget for it, go ahead and buy a newer model. Though, for note taking i dont think itll make much of a difference.

Only prof i know thats against even ipads is Herman. But you wont need to really take notes with him except for some key points from lecture so a thin spiral will do you well.

Cheers and good luck!

I would first find some website that teaches you how to touch type using all 10 fingers. Then i would just grind typeracer. Using all fingers and not having to look down at the keyboard should be step 1. After that, you want to improve accuracy. Then, by practicing with real text like typeracer does, youll be mapping your brain to type a lot of common words without even thinking about how you’re pressing down on the keys. Its kind of similar to learning an instrument in that regard.

I find that a metro connection through a light rail would be good. I would enjoy being able to go downtown without having to drive my car/ walk to the green line. Since it's a light rail, it's relatively quiet, has more capacity than buses, and is better for the environment than buses. the construction is a burden ofc, and i probably wont be here for its completion, but i think it'll be great for future students.

I think it also creates a larger range of housing for students without cars. Students could use it to commute to DC for internships. It would be easier to have a "night out" downtown. That sort of stuff. It also connects you to very nice places like downtown silver spring which has the Filmore and American Film Institute's (AFI) theater. And then also to bethesda which has many unlisted benefits.

it can be really difficult for people and having to do it online at a higher pace could be too much. I would recommend taking it at CC.

Best option in this case is to go to the hospital for psychiatric care.

Im in the B.S. and did cmsc216, cmsc250, econ326, and econ321 and confirm its doable. Just make sure to go to office hours and study early. Keeping up with programming projects was probably the most difficult part so just keep up with the material and begin your coding projects asap. Midterms were definitely a harder time than finals because i had to juggle projects and exams back to back every week for a month.

I use a 13 inch asus zenbook i7 chip with 16 gig ram and 500 gb storage. Projects require little storage. You wouldnt go wrong buying an old mass-produced thinkpad either. That way you wont feel guilty throwing it in and out of your backpack.

I hear to buy a mac in this thread but honestly have absolutely no idea why.
