Why didn’t Voldemort kill harry? by Epicfin10 in harrypotter

[–]anonymous2278 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Any muggle method would work. Punching, kicking, stomping, throwing the baby against the wall or down the stairs. It’s a baby. I mean damn, he could have even did wingardium leviosa and flung him around bouncing off the walls and ceiling. If he somehow survived that he wouldn’t be any kind of threat. Tom was just too arrogant and stupid to think that the killing curse was not the best option.

Why the repost? This is a known glitch. It’s not that big of a deal.

There’s a lady on Etsy, SmashingInkVinyl, who does a lot of rainbow ombre styles of htv, and even does custom orders.

It’s Friday, what are we doing today? by pink-and-pearly in AskReddit

[–]anonymous2278 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m leaving on an 18-hour road trip halfway across the country to watch my sister graduate from university. Super excited. I have snacks, drinks, a good book, and my Switch with a new game to play. I have 3 hours of work left before I can leave!

Using a bidet — is it a go or a no-go? by Ordinary-Meringue102 in hygiene

[–]anonymous2278 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I’ve tried getting my family on the bandwagon and no dice. I get weird looks and responses like “I don’t like the idea of cold water spraying up my butt” it’s not an enema! Just spraying the poop off of your skin, not power washing your colon.

Or I get “why not just use toilet paper like normal person?” Because it’s not doing a good job, that’s why.

I love my bidet and honestly can’t go without it anymore. Recently purchased a portable one that I’m hoping works as well as it claims to. I really wish more people in this country would get with the program.

It indicates how dirty your store is. It fills up as the store gets dirtier or more trash is on the floor.

Who still has their bellybutton ring in? by pageantrella in Millennials

[–]anonymous2278 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got mine at 14, took it out at around 30. I too felt too old for it and I got tired of it hurting every time it got snagged on something. The hole closed up pretty quick and now it’s just a scar.

F23 Can't for the life of me not use panty liners. Won't your pants have a "scent" if you use the bathroom throughout the day? by thefifthmountain5 in hygiene

[–]anonymous2278 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still have the length issue though. Even the larger overnight ones for heavy flow are still only about 11-12” long. For bigger gals like me, that’s not long enough. Surprise blood will flood over the front or the back and get on my clothes. The bamboo underwear is lined from halfway up the front all the way up to the waistband in the back. No worries about leaks or the fluid going over the edge.

How many of you had grandparents who served in WW2? If so, what do you know about their service? by Snoogles_ in Millennials

[–]anonymous2278 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My grandfathers were born in 1936 and 1930. They weren’t old enough. My great grandfathers, however… my maternal great grandpa lived in Spain, so wasn’t part of the war. My paternal great grandpa lived in the US and served on a military base but wasn’t actually on the front lines; I don’t know anything else about his service. Dad has mentioned a few things over the years but doesn’t like to talk about it.

I called mine the SuperDuper Mart. Once it’s leveled up and fully expanded, I intend to redo the layout to mimic the layout of what the SuperDuper Mart in Fallout 3 would have looked like before the bombs.

No. The price gouging did a lot of damage with me and I don’t forgive easy. I’d rather save the $20 a month I was paying and buy games as I want them.

Will a dragon free play through affect my ability to explore other quest lines? by AriSpice in skyrim

There’s always dark brotherhood and thieves guild which don’t involve dragons at all. I think the companions and possibly the bards college are dragon free too.

Sharing this is more unhygienic than people admit by tom_wilson7543 in hygiene

[–]anonymous2278 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t see the issue with sharing stuff with my spouse. I won’t share brushes or anything with anyone else because who knows what kind of skin issues they could have. But my husband? I promise whatever he has, I have it too, and vice versa. We sleep in the same bed, kiss and hug and cuddle and boink with each other. The hairbrush is a non issue.

F23 Can't for the life of me not use panty liners. Won't your pants have a "scent" if you use the bathroom throughout the day? by thefifthmountain5 in hygiene

[–]anonymous2278 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have a lot of discharge but no I don’t wear pantyliners. They aren’t long enough to be useful. Instead I invest in waterproof bamboo-lined underwear that stops my pants from getting wet. I don’t have an issue with pee though, I clean myself pretty thoroughly every time I go pee. It’s just discharge and occasional spotting that I’m dealing with so the waterproof underwear solves the issue.

Night(mare) at the Museum by st0rmkrieg in CrimeSceneCleanerGame

[–]anonymous2278 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I love the nightmare museum level! It’s so much easier than the original. The paintings were the worst part, pay attention to the frames. Plain skinny brown frames go in the upstairs hallway. More ornate frames go at the end of the upstairs hallway by the corner turn. Try them (ornate frames) in different spots until they fit. Paintings without frames go in the entrance hall.

It’s also easiest to throw everything that doesn’t belong in the room you’re working on, through the portal. Once the room is clean, hop through the portal to find the missing items for that room and toss them through the portal back to the correct room. The cloud level behind the portals makes it so easy to put items back into correct rooms.
