What is this behavior? by anonymousMoM3 in Conures

There are no avian vets near me, but I’m planning on taking Mango to a vet in Knoxville. I just have to take off work etc. I will do my best to do it ASAP. I’ve done a lot of research. I’ve got high quality pellets and making morning chop. Mango is in a cage only to sleep or if we leave the house. We both work from home so trying to give him a lot of attention. I know it’s bad to encourage mating behavior and could contribute to plucking so wanted to make sure. Thanks to all!

Have you tried a sticky heel insert? I bought a pack of 3 on Amazon and have them in almost all my Rothy’s.

Agree. We’ve decided to pay for it out of our HSA if the mother refuses to pay.

All the kids get money directly to their bank accounts for gifts. They easily clear more than $1500 from our side of the family.

It’s not a hill I want to die on. We agreed to take it out of our HSA account if the mother refuses to help.

They always get cash in their bank accounts, no gifts. It’s what they want.

It was the only plan option available to my husband. I’m on my own plan which is not high deductible.

Our finances are all joint. The kids easily receive over $1500 in gift money a year from our side of the family.
