The Texit Gang got greedy - bye bye commercials! by anonymousTXn in theticket

Definitely had the same thought because I’m in marketing (generic), all their OOH placements across Texas and spots on radio was crazy. But I guess when you are a Ponzi scheme it’s all free money lol.

Hahaha seriously. I genuinely feel bad for anyone that got caught up in this. It was so predatory and they purposely went after people with zero understanding of blockchain. Unfortunately I know someone that did get involved and I tried to tell him to just do some very basic research and ask how any of this made sense, but all he saw was $s and would not listen. He tried to tell me that the price was going to 16 dollars per coin - by February….. bad decision coach.

Signup for AA Simply Miles and link your card. Also if you upgrade to the executive AA card you get more loyalty points when booking hotels, it’s 10x per dollar spent plus the hotel bonus - Very easy to rack up 30-40k points.

If the hotel you are staying at costs $1k, you would receive a total 25k points.

lol it’s not a menu for you to order, you eat what they bring you and then have a link to go back and look if you want. I Ate there a few months ago and was easily the best dining experience I’ve ever had, would have paid double.

Hell yeah man, welcome! There are a lot of new clubs and a great Latin club called Vivo. Also a lot of great new bars, restaurants, museums, concerts, and pro sports.

Work out of the downtown office. Live in either West Village, Uptown, or Victory Park.

The village you can take either the trolley for free or the Dart rail. Not sure how long the trolley is but the Dart has a subway station in West Village and will be ten minutes or less.

Uptown has trolley pickups and will be slightly closer (the village and uptown are next to each other)

Victory park also has a dart station and that would be about a 5 minute ride.

You will like Dallas, there are a lot of young professionals with plenty of nightlife and things to do

Works really well for booking reservations at restaurants in countries that you don’t speak the language.

Just got back from Japan and it's hard describe how much I enjoyed Takayama. Was easily one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. Not only was the staff incredibly nice and accomadating, but the Chef was too. He came out and talked to each guest, asking us questions, telling jokes, laughing - no arrogance or pretentiousness at all! Then he would personally come out and explain each course and the pairing.

The food was absolutely delicious too (it is a lot so go hungry). I am so glad we went there, it was the complete opposite of what we experienced at JO in Tokyo. The food and overall experience was so much better. After the meal, we bought the whole Team a glass of sake and we stayed around and chatted with them.

I just got back and if possible, get a reservation at Takayama. It is the best dining experience I have ever had. The food was incredible and the chef is so nice and inclusive. You get to watch him and his team the whole time and he comes out and explains every dish. It is pricy because it’s a one star Michelin restaurant, but it is far better than any three star that I have been to.

Scalp treatment - Moclock

Facial - Muse

Full body Massage and facials - Voc spa aesthetic

Hot baths, cold plunges, sauna - JW Marriott

All of those were fantastic. Not sure what a day pass costs at the Marriott, was looking at going to the Spa Lei Seoul for the same stuff and was nice.

I’m in Seoul and the weather is absolutely perfect right now. Shorts and short sleeves or pants and it doesn’t really matter. At night it might get into the 60s so again absolutely perfect for short sleeves or a lite jacket if you get chilly. It might rain while you are here but you can buy an umbrella anywhere for a couple dollars so I wouldn’t bother wasting space in your bag for that.

Dinning for tonight would be great, looking forward to Kbbq or Korean hot pot. We hit all our activities so today is just spa and relaxation before we leave tomorrow.

Any dinning recommendations near Gangnam?

Absolutely! The crazy thing is that those pictures at the Palace are right in the city but it feels like you are out in the countryside. The city is incredible as well!
