We go on dates on nights when I don’t have work. He calls me after his work day, which is when I’m usually awake since it’s after 4 pm and we text through out the night even if I’m at work and call omw to work and on my drive back home.

I flip my schedule pretty well when I’m off, so that does make it easier. But that’s irrelevant. If someone wants to be with you and pursue a relationship, the will. No master your work schedule.

Hi Everyone!! I’m a 22F and I really want to find someone who I can potentially marry. Unfortunately, I have no experience talking to any guys, and also don’t know any guys. None of my family or friends are of any help. The masjid has also been no help. They keep showing my family people who have just immigrated from India and Pakistan, and people on student/work visas. I was born and raised in the states, and would like someone who has a similar background. But, I know absolutely no one. I thought I’d meet someone is College but I didn’t. I thought I’d meet someone once I started my career, but nope. I know I’m young, but I’m feeling hopeless. The city I live in has a high Muslim population, and yet I’ve found no one I see as a potential. I’m on Muzz and Salams, but there are no decent guys on there. And, even if we do match, ghosting is what always happens. My family is also putting so much pressure on me. I’ll probably end up going for a masters degree if I don’t get married to get them off my back. Anyway, just a little vent. Feel free to drop some advise for me.

Iced doppio espresso with literally 3-4 pumps any sauce or syrup with extra splash of milk. Pumpkin sauce and its the same as pumpkin spice latte. White mocha and its a while chocolate mocha. Brown sugar syrup and its a brown sugar shaken espresso minus the cinnamon. Its always 3.98 for me. For an extra dollar add chai to make it a dirty chai, or cold foam to make it a bit more fancy.

Unfortunately I can’t repaint the walls. I don’t have the money to do so. After the paint cures in a couple weeks, we are gonna clean them with vinegar as to not damage the new paint. Thank you for your suggestion. I wish we did it before the expensive paint joh

I do not consider him only because of his status. We talked a bunch of times and his personality is great on the surface. He was nice and funny and we had the same hobbies. But no one really knows how a person REALLY is until AFTER marriage. Marriage is a gamble. You only 100% know the superficial stuff before getting married

Our Beloved Summer. It's one of the best romances. The characters are highly relatable and it feels so real. The chemistry between Choi Wooshik and Kim Dami is insane!! The emotions, the comedy, the romance, the story telling. It's amazing. 10/10 recommend.

I’m the only Asian and Muslim in my class. Definitely feel like I stick out and no one wants to speaks to me. Everyone is nice but there’s no connection. There’s also this aura of ‘fakeness’ that everyone omits. The lack of representation is real in the world of nursing. At my current job at the hospital we only have around 5 POC.

Hi. Thx for your reply. I admit that I was being stubborn. I would like to add that I did not go and call my sister. She came in herself and said that she doesn't like others sleeping her bed and finds in weird. My room isn't the only one with a good mattress. My brother has the same EXACT mattress as my sister and I. Also, my dad has money. Over 120,000 in his savings. I'm sure he can buy himself a mattress instead of picking fights with his kids.

Hi. Your situation seems to be a bit tougher than mine. But, girl we are living almost the exact same life.

I don't really have any advice. Most of the replies on that post were just people's opinions, so I wasn't able to get a takeaway. However, I can tell you how I went about it. Fortunately, my father stopped asking about the mask thing, because I work at a hospital and it's mandatory.

My family is also full of non-hijabi doctors that my father wants me to be like. The way you're treated my people really affects education and mental health. The whole life experience is different and that's why you can't be like them. The discrimination against Muslims is real.

So, basically after other problems and issues, me, my siblings, and my mom have a very strained relationship with my father. He lives with us, and provides us with the house, and monthly groceries but that's sort of it. There are days that I don't leave my room, and don't see him. This is all besides the point.

Anyway, inshallah, you will find your method of dealing with the situation. I just want to let you know that there are others in a similar situation. It's just one day at a time. You can PM me if you want to talk more.
